This location is the Hotel St. Catherine Descanso Bay Catalina Isle ...It took me forever to figure out where this snippet from Pirate Party was. Built in 1918 ..it is no longer there ..the beach is ...it was replaced by a "beach club" so to speak ..of small buildings where near as glamourous as the original hotel.
I love the video. Its sad it wasnt longer. Regarding rusty8mm's comment; it takes allot of money to keep an old ship fuctional. The scrap dollars are worth more then the maintnance. We at least have memories and videos like this to keep it alive. LTJG Paull

What a terrible shame that the Catalina is stuck in Ensenada. I wish more people cared about this beautiful old ship
