I love this movie. It reminds me of my grandmother whne times were peaceful and good. She'd show me a bunch of great movies. Whenever I see this movie now, I get really sad thinking about all the time I lost with her:( Love you Gramsy!
i love this song. hope someone could sing the whole song in french!
One of my favourite scenes from cinema history. This scene is so beautiful, and so poignant and sad! I always cry, it makes me think of times and people that have past. The other sad scene is when Cary Grants character returns to his Grandmothers home once she has died and this scene we are watching here is played back as an echo, his memory. Very sad indeed!

What a trio....Cathleen Nesbitt is the elderly lady.Superb, along with dashing Cary and delicious Deborah with her friend and voice double Marni Nixon. Ms Kerr and Marni met on the set of The King and I , and hit it off.
A gorgeous scene, that works for this old Romantic anyway.

I can't pictured another actress making this movie. Only Deborah Kerr could give this character such a beauty and serene portray.

I've seen this movie over fifty times, and still have tears in my eyes whenever the grandma plays "Our Love Affair".
Of course the good-bye scene.................
