The issue I have with prostitution is when their actions start to affect me. Example: The spread of STD's. Yes, they should use condoms but condoms are not 100% bullet proof. it could tear during intercourse. Another example is when prostitutes have kids and surrender them to a foster agency. Now that costs me money from my taxes...
@all028 lol Spread of STD is common there is more STD's being spread from couples and people sharing drinks then Prostitution. More Citizens who are not prostitutes tend to have children and give it to foster care or request government help.... prostitution is rare compared to actual people who sleep around. Im sure you have a friend who is a girl and probably has slept with 3 guys who slept with 3 girls who slept with 3 guys in the end the people are the problem not just one tiny group.
I think having a more reasonable version of 'pimps' makes sense. Way back when cat-houses had madams who would make sure the johns weren't too violent, and made sure the cat-house was run smoothly.
Legalizing prostitution, is not enough. It needs to be regulated, that way laws can be put into place requiring regular health exams to slow/prevent the spread of STD's.
