  • Cont: The Swiss took this a step further with absolutely NO straight track except the lift hill going up, complex parabolic camelbacks and heart-line overbanked turns. Most Arrow rides up until 2000 were “simple radius” curves joined with large sections of straight track – translation: Jarring transitions over the tops of hills and into curves. Morgan and the Swiss mfgs(INTAMIN, Gio, B&M) transitioned into “variable radius” curves and hills.

  • Best bet: Try to ride Magnum XL-200, then Steel Force after it as soon as possible. SF is largely a refined Magnum built by (then)Morgan Mfg now Chance-Morgan. Morgan improved the rideability of the hyper with wider radius bends in the pipework(Picture one of those "Mad Mouse" single car rides at Wildwood - Magnum was that on Steroids!) Morgan took the hyper from giant mad-mouse(Magnum & Desperado) to crowd-pleasing thrill ride.

  • ive been looking everywhere for this!

  • you know this video is from dorney's website?

  • Chance Morgan rocks. They make awesome Hypercoasters.

  • Cool ride!

  • was this built by arrow dynamics?

  • @22hooks No it was built by Chance-Morgan

  • I hate sitting on the left side on the lift hill I feel like I will fall off

  • how do you keep the camera steady like that?!?!

  • @astosky it's a mounted camera

  • the climb always makes me think it's so much scarier than it is

  • The reason Steel Force Mamba Wild thing and Steel Dragon 2000 look alike cause their made by the same designer and company Steve Okamoto is the designer and the company is D. H. Morgan Manufacturing

  • If u go to Dorney and miss out on this ride, you are INSANE.

This ride is 295 feet high and goes 80 mph. ONE OF (don't wanna hear "mehh this coaster is faster") the highest and fastest coasters in the USA

  • Actually...it's 200 feet high with a 205 foot drop. It goes 75. If it was 295 feet high, it would go around 90.

  • @SuperKaitie333

Sorry to burst your bubble. But this coaster is 205-feet tall and goes 75 MPH.

  • @WeHateThePatriots

Yes, someone has already mentioned that... >:(

  • @WeHateThePatriots Actually, it is 201 ft. tall with a 205 ft drop.

  • it looks the same as the magnum at cedar point

  • @bradycorcoran Not really... Magnum is way different from this... However it looks like the Mamba at World's of Fun. Lol they're like exactly the same except for the fact that the 3rd hill is slightly different.

  • that looks like steel dragon 2000

  • It does actually. Looks pretty inspired by that ride.
