you have to understand, tarja has the classical voice where annette has the rocker voice. with annette having more rockish songs than with tarja doing songs on a more beautiful and stronger plane. annette is good, but she'll never be as good as tarja.

Does it matter who's better and who's not? Nightwish is still Nightwish. Tuomas writes the songs and music for the band. Anette sings it. I love the band and their songs.

@MultiPoison123 I think Annette is ok, the new nightwish is a nice band... but they don't have the "nightwish" spirit anymore for me... they're a "nice band" but that's all.

With Tarja it was a completely different level *__* not particularly vocally speaking (I think Tarja's and Annette's voices are soooo different that you can"t compare them... though I can say I do prefer Tarja), but the arangements were also more original and had more feeling in them

At least that's my opinion.
