NHL 09 - Chicago Blackhawks Shootout Goals

Can anyone give me some tips on how to get better at goal scoring on breakaways? It seems that every time I'm on a breakaway, my butt hole puckers and I just fire it blindly in the goalies craw or something. I don't think my fingers are coordinated enough with the pressure on to do anything other than firing it at his chest protector. Embarrassing really. Any tips would be most appreciated and thanks.

@kbond225 At the top of the circle fake a slap shot then come in, go to ur forehand side and roof it. nothing pretty, but i score hundreds like that.

the thing I hate about these games... you can do the same moves, the same hits, the same shots, the same saves with EVERY player in the game... Overalls and ratings dont mean anything...They need to change that so that a goalie like Brodeur would make way bigger saves then a goalie like Price... or players like Datsyuk and Thornton can do better moves and dekes then players like Cogliano or even Ryan Malone(who i have scored some nice goals with)They need to spread the talent out more for 2010

If you do ranked online shootouts, the person you are playing against always has to control the goalie. No way around that.

Hold the left stick and then you spin the shot stick around. Also just work on your moves in practice mode and you'll come up with some stuff you can use online.
