Thank you SO much for these videos. I adopted a neglected Persian from a puppy mill a year ago, and I'm still trying to figure out what to do with him. I gave him a bath today using the goop and some people shampoo, and he is SO SOFT now. :) Sure, he climbed my back at one point, but we got the job done.

Goop HAND cleaner. It's a degreasing cleaner. It's also commonly used by Persian owners and breeders because it's really good at degreasing the coat of a Persian.

thanks so much for putting these up! I've been using the list of steps you made on another video comment on my little girl. I'm sooo slow at it, but Miss P no longer looks like a little brown rat (instead of a white Persian. lol). Do any of your 3 have issues with eye stains? Any tips for that area?

When I was 16 I worked for my big brother at a carpet cleaning/ fire restoration business he was the general manager of. One of my duties was to go to K Mart and buy the Hand Goop and something else (I don't remember), which I mixed together. It was used to help get smoke damage off walls and it worked. Otherwise we had to us these dry earser sponges! You literally use it like an eraser to clean the walls. No fun at all!

So you understand how weird it is to be putting this on a cat, eh? It feels SOOO weird on his fur and it's cold. I'm thinking next time I might microwave it for a few seconds - people do that so it warms up a little.
