Well when you look at it, he really did drown- so I would guess he was dead for a while- and then we get him coming back all disformed in the 2nd- and all the way till part 9 he is all disformed- but in the part 9 he always has to find a body to kill with- I would have to say demon/man.

Its kind of cool to see the new modern twists on the old school horror movies. I just hope that they can stick to the story line and not get to out of hand with whats going on. But id deffinatly would go see the midnight showing of this movie.

I think what I enjoyed about the new Halloween is that it was a re-imagination of the Micheal Myers mythology. More of a "what if the story was told this way." Same thing for the new Friday the 13th. They will be putting a new twist to the Jason Mythology. What I also like is how serious they are in making this film. It doesnt look like Prom Night. I heard that was god awful.
