shaking hands in Islam isn't haram it's makrooh meaning it's preferable if you don't do it. \i personally don't shake hands with people of the opposite sex but I don't think it's haram if someone does it in a respectful manner.

Let me get this straight, they're shaking hands with women. If this show is to portray Islam in a light that represents Islam correctly then I don't think they're doing a very good job. Shaking hands with women is prohibited, period! Unless its your sister or your mother. These people including the so-called imam are NOT setting a good example.

@Alihisss666 In some schools it is allowed to shake hands with the opposite gender to avoid shame of the other party when in public especially if they already offer their hands. Humiliating others in public is also prohibited. Ammar didn't shake hands with Rayyan in the first episode.
