@RattyRandnums i was meaning saw difference sbetween this and castlevania 64... i know you can unclock castlevania 64 cgharacters here, and you even can play their same stories here... iwas looking for level differences, gampelay differences , etc..but in all youtuebe everybody post just videos playing with this wolf character... the the nothing about the other 3 :(

Well I think the differences for Carrie and Reinhardt between LoD and CV64 are that in LoD their stage design is more polished (though I think it's supposed to be the same levels) they have alternate costumes and Reinhardt's whip can upgrade to the flamewhip. Henry has a sort of mini-mission inbetween Cornell and the original characters. He has to rescue 6 children from the castle within 7 days gametime. The children rescued unlock Carrie/Reinhardt/their original costumes etc.

@BIMBOBOOP No problem, glad I could help. You should know to before you start playing that you need a controller pak/memory card that fits into your N64 controller to save on either of the N64 Castlevanias. If you don't already have one they're pretty cheap on ebay these days, I'd recommend trying to get an official one from Nintendo if you can get it at a good price. CV64 becoming obsolete was a good way to put it :) LoD is officially a "Special Edition" of CV64. More and better content/control

I love this game because you get to play using a werewolf. Also I like Cornell and his story. The only thing I didn't like is that he lost his powers at the end... But this was one of my favorite N64 games... Thanks for uploading this...

@lasarousi That's a good answer from an entertainment point of view, but what about the "why" in the game? They explained why the castle is always different in SOTN (it's a creature of chaos), but I don't remember them saying it applied to dracula.

I like this game! Clearly underrated. The first time I beat this game I did it on Normal Mode. Until I figured out Dracula's second form's pattern it was a nightmare! You did well. 5/5

Originally, 64 was removed from the cannon storyline, but after a few games, they decided to make it cannon again, so the storyline is pretty jumbled up during that period.

Unfairly underrated game which made me fan of Castlevania. You're doing very well against Dracula. For an average player like me is second form was an absolute nightmare

@princeelphin I won't deny that Legacy of Darkness was a very underrated game, but I still didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the other Castlevania games. I honestly don't think that Castlevania translates well into 3D, but that doesn't change the fact it was a good game.
