McLovinChicago im suscribing..you have like 20 vids of metallica on 1/26/09. i was row 211 that was the most sickest concert ever..i caught one of those metallica beach ball things at the end when they played seek & destroy!!

I was their that night best show iv'e ever been to. I was headbanging like crazy during master. And this chick next me told me to stop, and i just looked at her and said "Really are you really asking me not to head bang at a FUCKING METALLICA concert?!!!!

I am seeing them tomorrow at Nassau. I cannot wait. Something very impressive that some might not realize is James always downstrokes with he plays.

that is NOT impressive in the slightest.

I was watching and noticed that myself. That is a terrible, TERRIBLE habit for any guitarist. Downstrokes only? You're basically playing at half the speed that you can do if you would just apply some Economics of Motion.

Good show it looked like (i was still not willing to spend that kind of money to sit in a chair to see them. Not even metallica is worth a hundred fifty for that.)

But i just lost a bit of respect for James when i saw that.

ur an idiot u cant play master of puppets with both upstrokes and down strokes it doesnt add the power and feel if u use upstrokes

Then you're clearly not top form with your picking hand. Its not difficult to get the same sound with up and down strokes....and it saves you so much effort. Why play a song at 200 SPM when you can play it at 100?

If you can play Master of Puppets with only downstrokes, power to ya, but you can play something twice as FAST with adding upstrokes.

Like I said. It looked like a great show regardless. It just didnt seem worth 150+ to sit in a CHAIR for Metallica.
