Unfortunately,They never release the console version that they planned to release in 2007.

I remember they planned to release on both XBOX 360 and PS3.

But it lack the controls and wii was too weak for HOTD4. (cancelled)

Now it ended up on PS3 because it's got more natural and accurate PS move support.

I'm not sure about the year by the way but it's more than 4 years ago.

the only way light gun games will work on home consoles is if it comes with a full sized gun that makes you feel like your shooting a real gun. like time crisis in the arcades every time you shoot the gun cocks back. and house of the dead 4 i think you had a uzi that vibrated when you shoot. all apart of the fun that made the game more enjoyable

I came to aski the following question.

Before I got the system update 4.00,my ps3 was reading all my discs perfectly fine.

Now that is updated,it doesn't read the following games:Killzone 3,God of war 3,Metal Gear Solid 3 and Final Fantasy XII.

I thought the discs had a scratch,but I tried the discs with my friends ps3 and they work perfectly fine.

Can somebody tell me what's wrong,please?

Played this at Dave and Buster's last year. Had so much fun that I went and bout 2 & 3 for the Wii along with two Wii handguns.......and that was the biggest mistake of my life. It got old pretty quickly. I don't know what I was expecting. I had already purchased Overkill for the Wii and a few other "zapper" games back in the 90's for the Nes and Snes.

Good for people that need to find a use for their PS Moves, I guess. They'd be better off with Dead Space Extraction, though.

Why isn't this included in the PS3 port of Overkill? SEGA should make a "House of the Dead Complete" collection, including every game in the series, rather than re-releasing older games one by one. I love me some old school lightgun action, especially HotD, but I can't help but feel that SEGA is just milking the franchise for what it's worth, rather than trying to please the long time fans of the series.
