Ghostbusters 3 is happening and it will be here in 2012 that what it says on the GB3 Imdb. Dan said 2 months ago that everyone has signed on to make Ghostbusters 3 and the GB3 script will be done at the end of Summer and Dan said that Production will began in the Winter of 2009. The videogame isn't GB3 but in the videogame they can do the samething or similar to GB3. It's coming in 2012 so stay tuned!
i hope so, movie franchise are not worth doing if the orginal cast are not in them.

Alot of people probably don't know, or forgot, Dan Akroyd was trying to get a third movie made for several years. Sony Pictures kept backing out, Murray didn't want to do it, and they kept giving him the shove. I heard he went as far as leaving his senior position at Sony because he couldn't get the film made.
I'm hoping the game sells well and the third movie is made. This is going to be the Year of the Ghostbusters.
There are rumors going around that now Murray realizes how wanted the franchise and characters are he's willing to do a third movie.
The original title for the third film was called "Hell Bent". Even if they don't make a third film, this game is going to OWN.
What's REALLY funny is that when the original movie was released, they put the Ghostbusters TV Commercial from the movie on live TV and received an INSANE amount of phone calls from people thinking it was real in order to get help.

You know why I'm going to buy this game? Because there is passion involved. Dan Akroyd wants this to succeeed. He, along with Ramis, wrote the script,.. and made sure the finite elements of their characters,.. along with the quintesentuial Bill Murray,.. were still intact.

I think it's hilarious that Harold Ramis said in an interview in 2007 that he was working on a project with writers from The Office, and here Aykroyd says he's working with the same writers for Ghostbusters 3!
I hate the part when Dan says the new film needs a new younger generation of ghostbusters, it really dosnt, ghostbusters is a comedy and half the comedy would come from watching these 4 old men running round with proton packs on their backs trying to catch ghosts, that would atleast give it some origionality. I can see it now, they'll probably get jack black as ray, chris rock as winston, ben stiller as peter and some half intelligent actor as egon, im gonna hate it, it will be all SFX.

You couldn't keep me away if you tried, but I think what we all REALLY want is for the first movie to have never, ever ended. As far as formats go, it'll be interesting to see whether blu-ray takes off or not. Right now bandwith is too small for people to download movies in 1080p HD, plus there's the bonus content that downloads don't have (yet). That said, downloads will probably be the future format. After all, look at what MP3s have done to compact discs.
Great Video. I have to disagree with some of the comments, I don't think the DVD market is dead. And while memory sticks are handy for storing movie files, that kind of media can become corrupt, just like hard drives, whereas with DVD, your only real danger of damaging it is if you scratch to a degree that the laser can't read it. I will get Ghostbusters on Blu-ray, but only when Bu-ray players come down in price. Good ones are not cheap at the moment.

Yeah... the interviewer was pretty "noob", but it all came together pretty good. It's always seemed like Dan had a real passion for ghostbusters, whereas people like Bill Murray were somewhat more reluctant to jump back into it. Still, they're all awesome!

Yeah u right. After what I said, I was thinking that Ghostbusters is a made up for a comedy/action movie, and realized I was wrong. If they put serious tone to it, then Ghostbusters is no longer a comedy movie we loved, it will ruined the franchise.

The whole interview was great, then drops a line like that...as if Dan is SO OLD that it must be difficult for him to recall his lost fame from the most popular movie he ever starred in, Lol!

Yeah... the interviewer was pretty "noob", but it all came together pretty good. It's always seemed like Dan had a real passion for ghostbusters, whereas people like Bill Murray were somewhat more reluctant to jump back into it. Still, they're all awesome!

Even IF the gameplay doesn't work out, (and so far looking at it, this could be the best game based off a movie) we at least get a new officially canon GB story. Can't wait!

Yeah u right. After what I said, I was thinking that Ghostbusters is a made up for a comedy/action movie, and realized I was wrong. If they put serious tone to it, then Ghostbusters is no longer a comedy movie we loved, it will ruined the franchise.
