  • Thanks a lot!

  • tnks man it realy helped

  • but when i add a vid it shows black i can hear the sound only

  • Here's a tutorial that's really simple and you just need a link.

    watch?v=EG2SzY7fhJY

  • Compress the video with a converter "XMedia Recode" or "Super" in the right format first, using a not to low bitrate.

  • I have made a powerpoint show with a video, but when I compress it or optimise compatibilty so that I may send it via email the video pictures become distorted, all you can see are blurred squares moving about, but the sound quality remains good... Please can you tell me how can I resolve this issue? I have the 2010 version.

  • You can also rename the ppt/pptx file to pps/ppsx if you don't want to open PowerPoint.

  • I used Xvid, but as stated in my blog due to general compatibility I recommend: Windows (wmv) Mac (mov)

  • mate divxplus converter did the trick...

  • man i try do it using that super thing but it says "verify that the necessary codec for this media format is installed" what do i do? please help ithink im going wrong somewhere

  • @deffi88 First determine what filetype your source video is (.3gp, .amr, .mpeg, ...) and which video and audio codec your video is conformed by. Download (mediainfo. sourceforge. net) and check your source video with it to determine the video and audio codec of you video. If SUPER cannot convert your video file, google Internet for a program that supports the video and-or audio codec of your source video. You cannot convert a video if you don't have the decoder for that type of video installed.

  • @deffi88 ok lol this is driving me nuts.. lol now its saying something bout the path.... using the correct path and codec. help. i must be annoying lol. but i need help please

  • am i able to format the videos that i put in if use your link?

  • @deffi88 Please check out the link I have added to the first 10 seconds of the video to learn about first encoding your video file correctly. This should fix your problem. Take care ;)

  • man i put the video in power point so it worked perfect i saved my presentation, openend again and when click to watch the video it says the specified file cannot be played on the specified MCI device. file may be corrupt bal bla... so i thoght it was cuz of wrong path or somethin i did it again and the video didnt even play before save it was wrong?

  • @hiphopreal70

I think it's a video codec problem. Check out my blog link in the video description above. You can also google for "The specified file cannot be played on the specified MCI device" and you'll find a lot of answers. Espero esto te ayude ;)
