Eleganckie, bezpieczne i szybkie.
If Fiat want's to sell here in the USA they need to increase the Amount of USA made components which from what I ave read is about 10%. Building it here would be nice too! It's built in Mexico.
The Fiat is a pretty good looking car, yet i don't like the fake chrome accessories... why don't motor companies use stainless/ or aluminum door handles and bumper accents. At least it wouldn't look so cheap and would also draw customers.
Test drove one of these a couple days ago (Sport with 5-speed). I was impressed, but the dealer charged over $2,000 MSRP. Do they really think I'm an idiot? lol
$20 grand with no leather or sunroof? Um, no.
But a sport w/5-speed for about $18k? That would be much better. I loved the interior, and it handled pretty well for the price.
@Manongjojo YOu have NO idea what you are talking about. Euro standards (which FIAT passes) are higher than USA standards. Considering the size of FIAT vehicles, they do very well.
it does look the part, but if it is to have the same success of th BMW mini, it will need to be reliable, in order to keep the reidual value like the mini does.
We have this car in Mexico, even is going to be produced this year in our country. Actually we have all European cars at the same time they are sold in their original countries...
.the workers at crysler are going and with fiat its going to get worse! the robots finally are winning,so u guys better invest on the robotics industry, because all the big manufacturing plants going to use more and more robots ,and u kids out there u better study enginiering, electronics ,mechanics, hydraulics, chemistry, industrial and draftting design, machine repair, die and tooling,,because its where the good jobs going to be to make n repair the robots,.or you can came and work the farm with me.
This is part of the reason why Fiat is becoming so competitive in the world. If you want to compete against chinese labor rates you have to eliminate labor all together. The robots that are producing this car are made by Comau a Fiat owned company. They are absolute worldclass and will allow chrysler to remain in business even though without most of their labor force . Go check the MINI production Video and than you know why Fiat is selling better cars for less money.
@nosupecualponerme Go and watch what Bentley, Porsche, Lamborghini are made of, robotic is good, it's efficient and the margin of error is mostly likely close to naught. But the downside is that robotic couldn't handle some works which is very precise or complex, which is why handmade is still important.
Chrysler is dying because the product isn't selling as the product is poorly made and has no design flair what so ever. The American auto industry has been its own worst enemy for many years, by believing the good ole boys in the home market were all they had to cater for, look at the only strong American OEM FMC and they have a strong and modern, well designed product that sells worldwide.
@mikehunt4375@mikehunt4375 Domestic car companies have been generally run by soulless bean counters who had no other interest in the companies other than that they made billions, an people that might have cared but who where completely unable to change the culture of the company. How many times did a guy like Lee Iacocca step up and save the company? Pure greed and arrogance is what there problem was. What's sad is that US customers never seemed to expect better. That's the really problem.

@nosupecualponerme Sounds good to me! As far as I can tell the more complex machinery there is the more people you need to maintain it. There's no reason current auto factory workers couldn't be retrained.
@nosupecualponerme Sounds good to me! If machine's can do it better let them do it. The more complex machinery you have the more people and industry you need to maintain it. Jobs that require a high level of skill and qualifications pay well. There is no reason most existing factory workers couldn't be retrained for another job, either with the current company or in another industry. Dumping them, is unfair though.

people are too cheap to spend 40,000 to buy a car. And chrome isn't EPA friendly, so they use that plastic shit.
