  • The scars on her body were from a factory accident that "Anna" had before she went missing and ended up in the canal in Berlin. She dropped a grenade when she was working in a plant. The blast injured her and killed a man standing near her.

  • so how did she know things that only Anastasia would..?

  • so how did she know things that only Anastasia couuld know.?

  • Problem is movies tend to be more hollywood version and less actual facts- great example being "Seige At Ruby Ridge" I looked at side by side pictures of Anastasia and Anna , in some the resemblence is uncanny - while in others the nose cannot be of the same person.

  • agree with walk in

  • there is something called a walk-in, an entity. When a person dies abruptly or the death is a big surprise, this is more typical, and the soul doesn't know he/she is dead, and looks around for a body to occupy. so in this case it cold that Anastasia's spirit refused to leave and walked into another person, someone having had Anastasia's spirit walking into another war vicim that had similarities to herself.

  • I thought the same thing, and that seemed to be the case with the Wachega Wonder, where the soul of a woman inhabited a girl.

Two movies that seem to use the walk-in subplot are "The Good Son" (1993) where Elijah Wood's character believes his late mother chose his paternal aunt-by-marriage as a vehicle in returning to him, and "Starchaser" Legend of Orin" (1985) where Joe Colligan's character meets a princess who he believes the soul of his murdered love chose as a vehicle in returning to him.

  • the thing that gets me is she (anna anderson) always said from what i have seen is she didt want any thing but her name not money or any thing like that, and the scars and her little weird memories ware did they come from. iam not saying its her for sure but it realy makes me think.

  • yea i no... seriously,, but it still is a good movie :D

  • is it just me or do movies never use the obvious proof, how else can she prove it aside from her scars

  • i agree with you
