If you read the liner notes the band wrote for this song it says they purposely played less notes in the intro solo than the original, and out of key as a homage to Kirk. I think it's basically just a piss take for the band.

The intro solo is painful. Whoever these guys are, should really stick to originals and forget killing other people's songs. Vocals are godawful. @Huoha You made me laugh to be honest. Lars is a good drummer, nothing more. he isnt bad, BUT. Lars is a fucking GENIOUS. All of his writing in the first 5 MetallicA albums? You joking? Also, no one can do a MetallicA cover better than them, and most of them who try to do a better or even a good cover, they fail. I know a few good covers like.. Trivium - Master of Puppets & Dark Angel - Creeping Death. Also, Trivium are the best metal band of this decade along with Machine Head.
