  • music is past ,present and future..its what touches you that matters

  • Jimi man. . .

  • i love this

  • Incrivel mas estava ouvindo alguns videos quando me deparei com este o interessante é que no mesmo dia em que foi tocado a 41 anos atras.

  • This only strengthens my love for both Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix. <3333333333333

  • i jst caint wait \History repeats itself you guys

    Music Music Music

    ((((((V I B R A T I O N S))))

  • gods cant die! T^T

Hendrix is alive in out guitars

  • Music will never be the same without them. that goes for janis, jimi, kirk... and so much more. Its like they are the founders of real rock and feeling. From ACDC to the DOORS. RIP

  • who cares about the world greatest...just be happy listening to real rock music. not rap crap...

  • @MrJohnthegreat22 elaborate how rap is crap, if you are referring to mostly the mainstream modern rap artists then really I have not quarrel with that statement.

  • I suppose Aerosmith and the Chili Peppers Sly and Family are bands I know of that sang early rap type songs. Rap is just speed talking a song. If you can understand what they are saying. But most of what constitutes modern rap is geared for the black audience. It is usually vulgar and rude stuff. just saying rhyming words real fast is fine but it has limited musical appeal. At least to me.

  • @MrJohnthegreat22 Rap is more then speed talking a song, rap is more of a type of music which focuses on the singing in a different way and the lyrical content rather then the instrumentation. You can't generalise about the content of rap basing it just on just the few swear words you hear in them.

  • I was born in 1993, and yes the music today sucks in comparison to Hendrix and Zeppelin and the like from the 60s and 70s. But the fact of the matter is, we can't go back in time, so why live in the past? Instead, find musicians today that can rock (Jack White, The Black Keys, etc.). If you can't find anyone you like to listen to that is active right now, then by all means grab a guitar, grab your drumsticks and go out and make the music you want to hear!

  • @Foppa921 Well said, well, fucking, said.

  • Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page-my two favourite guitarists of all time

  • jimi and jimmy rule! my favs!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • this is the passing of the torch from one Titan to another

  • whats with the kid 1:12

  • Imagine Jimi and Robert jammin' :O woh!

  • @ramonskush Jimi and Robert wouldn't jam... maybe jimi and jimmy

  • And when I'm out, I see you walkin'....why don't your eyes see me? And could it be you've found another game to play? What did Mama say to me? That's the way it outta be.

  • amok time

    watch?v=NzdDoHYyYiU

  • Was lucky to see Zep in '73, twice in one week in '75, and the last time in '77... all Seattle... (and have bootlegs)... and being from the area of Hendrix there's a certain "feeling" Zep had for Seattle.... were always some of the best shows.

(Like there were any bad ones ???) hehhehehe ;-)

  • im a part of a dying breed. i was born into a generation of rap and pop, but i still play the classics. if you're a part of this dying breed, keep the music going. rock and roll will never die because of us

  • Outstanding.

  • To Korg8000, keep jamming my young brother!!!!

  • Robert Plant

    Jimy Hendrix

    Legends

    the best

  • And John Booham was gonna have a similar destiny ten years later... Very interesting video. Great job! Thanks for posting!

  • I'd never heard this tribute. It's nice, a very nice way of acknowledging Jimi's passing.

  • jimmy is in heaven right now , blesss brothers !

  • @TheMariolokochon You mean Jimi... Reading this made me freak out and think Jimmy Page died without me knowing! Lol

  • was i the only person that was creeped out by the kid w/ the guitar?

  • cool

  • The only person that could match Zeppelin's rule of the 70s was Jimi. Maybe thats why he died, Jimi's job was done while Jimmy's was just starting.

  • @TheHuMoCa Jimi's job wasnt done. it would of tooken him hundreds of years for him to b done. and jimmy too if bonham had never died. page and hendrix were both equally talented.

  • @TheHuMoCa well the who also ruled the 70's, and pink floyd.....

  • @LedZeppZoSo the clash ruled the end/early 80's

  • @PBANDSNOW i agree 100%

  • Wow, I didn't know they did this. Nice video

  • 6 people suk kak..

  • Love Hendrix and Led Zeppelin so thanks for sharing this.

  • The world's greatest band did a tribute to the world's greatest guitarist. You can't get better than that.

  • @m3dion I just have a problem with that statement though, because even Hendrix himself says he wasn't the best guitarist in the world. When asked in an interview he said, "I don't know, ask Rory Gallegher"

  • @tschrenk1 Yeah, but he was hardly the only self critical guy in the world. It's always hard to call yourself best at anything

  • @tschrenk1 He was a very very modest person, i thought he said 'Phil Keaggy'?

  • @insaneme92 thats possible, perhaps i have bad information. which every way its put, all three, Hendrix, Gallegher, and Keaggy, are all fantastic guitarists

  • @tschrenk1 actually I just looked into his quote from other sources, they state different guitarists, confusing.

  • @insaneme92 Hell, it's possible it happened on a few different occasions, Jimi couldn't pick just one! haha

  • @m3dion u mean Jimmy page was the best right.... u bugging about Hendrix.... in my opinion Jimmy Page was WAY better

  • @Shackybone No, I did not mean that. I meant that Jimi Hendrix was the best guitarist who has ever lived, better than Page, Clapton, Beck, better than anyone. When Hendrix died, Jimmy Page became the best guitarist ALIVE.

  • @m3dion very humbling for zeppelin to make that announcement, shows how great their souls were and where their heads were at, to draw attention to jimi at one of their concerts, to hear robert actually tell everybody to be quiet so he can talk to them. shows they they were truely touched by jimis death, a very nice moment!!!

  • Jimi was loved. While he was alive and still after he died.

  • thanks for uploading!!!

i love to hear from my 2 greatest inspirations.

  • i would have loved if there was a couple of hendrix songs that zep covered.

  • @mespasticpunk i've seen morse, but didn't see pagey. would love to see him live those days or these, doesn't matter. in fact, morse's great.

  • thank god they remembered to plug their new record, with all that deepfelt emotion going on.

  • You cant really say who the best is, it is too subjective.... My favorite is Jimmy but Jimi is amazing too!

  • why this kind of thing doesnt have more quality....

  • R.I.P.

  • 70 was the perfect year for live zeppelin.

  • Jimmy and Jimi!

  • Bob Dylan on Led Zep: "They don't have anything to say."

  • @vinegaroon1 bob dylans dumb

  • @lionellogan but not you, right?

  • @vinegaroon1 yea im dumb

  • Never heard this before... Thanks for posting.

  • It was pretty much required, if a band was playing a gig after the death of Hendrix that they had to do some sort of tribute...wish there were more pictures of Hendrix in the tribute!

  • Anyone have the recording of Plant talking about the color palette that Zeppelin has before they play Kashmir?

  • Rip jimi, rock on zep

  • This is just plain beautiful. Led Zeppelin and Hendrix forever will be remembered.

  • There was no such thing as you tube when I grew up just radio that is like is now playing tired old shit I never new this recording ever was made thank you for posting, real music real musians will live forever.

  • Great, classic sounds from awesome guys. Watch out for BRANDON JAROD. Playing hey joe, just as great!

  • Så Jävla BRA!!,,Or so FUCKING Nice!!

  • I wish there was a button that said 'I LOVE this'

  • September 18th 1970 was another tragic day the music died.....

  • I don't know how I'm gonna tell you,

    I can't play with you no more... - Jimi H r.i.p. brother

  • One of my all time favourite songs! :) Love Led Zep & Jimi Hendrix

  • this gave me a strange desire to die as well, i dont know.. its just a manner of acceptance and peace of death.. thats how attached i am to these guys..

  • yes, the biggest band to tribute the biggest guitarist

  • @carrollckjcm you mean second greatest guitarist ?

  • @tebestofgod Who's greater than Jimi Hendrix?

  • @RastafariPoet Knopfler a poet on the guitar

  • @RastafariPoet jimmy page for me...

  • Damn, you can just feel the bad energy from the recording itself. I mean... A day after Jimi Hendrix died?

  • i died once

  • @ynkysrbest LMAO XD Ima write a tribute to you

  • Me, born in an generation of idiots... Wasn't even around when GnR was. At least i found good old fashion rock n roll; Zeppelin, Chuck Berry, Stones, AC/DC, Guns n' Roses etc. If people don't like this music... Let them listen to Bieber and the Jonas Brothers. Let the people who like good music swim in the golden river. I hate if people say that old music sucks, that makes me want to play it even louder! Well i'm 15, and born in an generation of few smart people. Luckily almost all my friens are

  • @Korg8000 dude, I am probably the same age as you, and I feel the same way. The other day I asked one of my classmates what music he listens to... and he answers... whatever everybody is listening you retard... I was like... ok... now i get it.

  • @Korg8000 dude im only 1 years old

  • @stanthefag May i say you took a really good typing course then?

  • @Korg8000 i agree.

  • @Korg8000 and golden river? of urine?.... how disrespectful!

GnR is rehashed bullshit. They ripped off Zeppelin and the Stones and Aerosmith in the most generic way.

no disrespect meant towards Hendrix of course..

  • @Korg8000 I agree with you to an extent but GnR are shit.

  • @Korg8000 You will figure it out man. People aren't dumb, music just doesn't really matter to them. Get excited for the time when you discover there is music in any era, even right now their are bands creating music that will blow you away. And I don't mean they will sound like Led Zeppelin, but they changed their age in music just as much. I long to be your age, when discovering bands like Sonic Youth and the Replacements was life changing, enjoy your musical future friend.

  • @Korg8000 Couldn't agree more mate! I'm 41 and I was a teen in the fucking 80's, and believe me the music back then sucked almost as bad as today. I listened to Stones, Beatles, Doors, Cream, AC/DC etc. My friends found me a bit odd - and fucking proud of that I was aged 14ish.

Keep listening - you're gonna pass it on.

  • @miltbrand yeah. the last period of good music is 70s.....in 80s, there are just few great band or solo

  • @Korg8000 don't worry there are soooo many more dank band you might not have heard yet. recorded music will resonate through history forever

  • @Korg8000 good to know your out there 60's 70's music is timeless for sure and if you play guiitar its the motherload my best to you and Mr Kite for posting this craig

  • @Korg8000 I'm 25 brother...and do have same feelings since i was 4....my name is Zepp and i am named after Zeppelin as my dad is gr8 fan of them but i guess i have had overtaken him by so far....u are dude bro...fuck other people who think u're choice is crap...we are here to appreciate ur golden sense and taste of music

  • @Korg8000 it is a generation of idiots. All we can do is dream on about those times

  • @Korg8000 I'm 13 and I totally agree!!!

  • One of the greatest bands of all time; the mighty Led Zeppelin!

RIP Jimi! You're gone but not forgotten...

  • I love Led Zeppelin ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥!!!!! Thank you sooooo much for playing such a beautiful song for a tribute-especially to the Amazing Jimi! :)) love yall always!!!

  • Thankyou so much Zep. Hendrix would be proud to know that you kept great rock going. RIP Jimi. We salute you everyday.

  • Whats a 'Jonas Brother'? Is that like a branch of the boys club or something?

  • jonas brother are not and i think they are nver going to be legends, your comparing two way way way to different things

  • @southparkboy119 yes !!!!! good person who wanted to " change the world " ( jimi hendrix , jim morrison , luther king , ..... ) died or ( in my opinion ) was killed !!! in my country there was the same thing !! the singer Daniel Balavoine or the comedian Coluche ( who wanted to be elected for president ... =) ) were killed for sure !! those persons who tried to gave love or good moments or good things were killed .... its horible !!! but their music , show , speech will never die !!!

  • Led Zeppelin Is and always will be the best rock n roll band in the world. Nikki Six says that Motley Crue is this best band in the world, has he never heard zep or old van halen , that really bugs me.

  • @calfender08: Motley Crue sucks ass. I'm sorry, I know others have great metal memories from the '80s but next to KISS, that band was the epitome of forming a rock band to do nothing more than party, ingest drugs, and screw sleazy STD infested groupies left and right. After I watched VH1's "Behind The Music" on Motley Crue, I thought "These guys are just a bunch of freakin' loosers and always have been." If Nikki Six thinks Crew is better than Zep, he's got his head up his ass!

  • who the hell are the Jonas Bros?

  • @southparkboy119 i think that in through the out door proved to the world that zeppelin was already starting to turn to the dark side of music (still the greatest band of all time)

  • Sad but very nice to hear them do a tribute to Jimi

  • Fly on little wing...

  • Yep.......... JIMI

  • Hendrix listened to the Real Mother, not the colonized mother, he followed his heart and became one and is still living with the Real Cosmic Mother

  • LZ was so terrific..... they ruled from Day 1

  • R.I.P You're where a great man and musicial genious. I Wish you weren't taken away from us so soon.

  • @ReyZame Dumb Kid...........

  • SkaterFippe4, you would´t wish the death of the people, they make music, that you don´t like, i think they should not has been born (Britney, timberlake etc)..

  • So sad that Jimi couldn't join them as they ruled the 70s....

  • God said it would be too much awesome on earth or it would explode. That's why he took jimi back up

  • oh god your absolutely right haha

  • @jshadow25 he couldn't keep jimi with us, it was led zeppelins time to rule the musical earth

  • @SteadyHaze Dude, page is amazing

  • so many legends of music history died, like jimi hendrix, jim morrison, janis joplin, johnny cash, kurt cobain, scott bonham, john lennon, mitch mitchell...but why don't jonas brothers, britney spears, miley cyrus justin timberlake, die too?

It's time for some good music goddamn, this century was fucked up

  • do you mean john bonham or scott, cause i've heard of the others and they're pretty famous but I dunno this scottt :P

  • Fuck you stupid.

It's wrong to wish death to people. Even if they don't play music of the kind you like.

  • I dont wish death, it's just a pity that it was them and not those others. propably i just formulated it wrong: Would be cool if all of em live. Satisfied Mr.?

  • oly music legends die as u stated.....nt ppl who hav pussies screamin for em....;)

  • fly on little wing jimi.. RIP

  • R.I.P You're experienced.

  • RIP JIMI HENDRIX

  • Beautiful and Sad Song

R.I.P. Jimi we'll never forget you,

    and thanks for the Music.

  • That's a cool little piece of history.

  • That's a real piece of history there. Beautiful and sad at the same time.

  • This is the ultimate tribute, the biggest band in the world to the biggest guitarists.

  • @Rinaleightball1 eh, eh, now we should discuss if pagey's not the best guitarist.

  • @Rinaleightball1 Zepp wasn't huge yet. Jimi was.

  • Rip Jimi- hes the man

  • RIP jimi

  • This is great, where's it from? Nice sound...I love how chatty Plant was in these early 1970's shows. Still very much the hippie, by 75 & 77 he was still chatting it up but with a different tone. Thanks!

  • by 75 and 77 led zep had a lot more dough and success, still writing and recording some great music in those times too, would have been great to be at a live show in those times, i was born in 4/20/75 its great to see and hear some of these old gems of rock and roll history, thanks to the poster of this clip

  • check out the cheat sheet on the kids guitar neck. wish i had that.

  • I wish he was still here...

  • A nice, heartfelt gesture. I'd love to see Page and Hendrix play together in their prime. Impossible I know, but good to know Page is still around and doin' it.

  • Robert Plant is FUCKING GORGEOUS.

    i love him so much<333

him and hendrix should have performed together,

led zeppelin was so unique, from the bluesyness to the real hard rock and roll.

    they were amazing.<3

  • agreed! There aren´t no lead singers like him anymore!

  • I created this video.

    StuffByMe

  • Led Zepplin really appreciate Hendrix

  • no body can really say, but i think your right man. hendrix WAS murdered

  • i doubt any one is that fucking evil to the point were they will just watch some one OD and die

  • well if u think about it, there r some pretty fuckin evil shit in this world, the holocaust, other genocides, beheadings, and many more, im sure somebodys is capible of shit like that . humans already started tossing people into an oven and shit, im sure someone could be out there to kill someone even like hendrix, there was for john lennon....

  • i was commenting on the comment where u said you doubt sum1 cood b tht evil 2 watch sum1 die...& i said u were kind hearted ! thts not a bad thing ! wasnt ment 2 b taken tht way at all !

  • No offense but i could barely read that.... just saying....for future reference...
