This may seem like an oversimplified answer but it is the honest truth about form... it is the results of "good" repetition... so you need to practice form daily.. like tying your shoes. See my video about synaptic facilitation.
@freejumptraining Hey man, hope ur doin good. i have a question though. i can't really get a good grip on what i'm supposed to do on the jump manual. i downloaded it, and after all the stretching is done. it'll talk about "penultimate steps", tips on jumping, and jumping with weights. i mean do we incorporate this in the routine we're currently doing? im sorry i just don't know what all of the 45 minutes consist of.
I find in the gym I can do more curls and bench pulls with my off hand and I can land a harder punch with my off hand but I cant write with it so how can I improve my off hands form?
I have his program and I can attest that it works. I was very skeptical but it has really helped my vertical leap. I have increased my vertical leap by 3-4 inches in the past 3 weeks. Message me if you want more info!
depends man, watch Doctor J and MJ, they are primarily 1 footed dunkers because they are lengthy and it stretches there body out more, giving them more of an angle, plus you dont lose some of your momentum if you have to go to 1 foot, but then also look at dwight howard and vince carter, both more primarily 2 foot dunkers, however they can still dunk well, if you cant jump as high off 1 foot i recommend working on your lower leg stability and overall quickness
Thanks man! I understand what youre talking about. I am going to start working on my lower leg stability and overall quickness. Do you have any good workouts for those 2? Thanks for those good examples.
umm lol im not a professional i cant tell you a workout regime, pleanty of good examples of workouts on youtube and such, ummm generally less athletic slower guys say they can jump higher off of 2 feet than one foot, this is because they have never TRAINED or trained correctly to learn how to jump off one foot, plus the fact is the faster you are the more lift you are going to get, especially off 1 foot
i would just recommend working on strengthening your calfs, anterior tibialis, quads, and hamstrings, wich will give you more stability, also man, alot of people suggest that jumping off one foot could be superior because when you jump off 2 feet you kind of burn some of your upward momentum/propulsion in going to 2 feet, a 1 foot jump is alot quicker, dont have to jump step etc
nope. everybody's different. example of 2 footed dunkers in the nba: dominique wilkins, vince carter, jason richardson. 1 footed dunkers incude: lebron james, rudy gay, dr j. sum people have the ability to jump off either one reaching the same height. example:Michael Jordan, Kobe, Dwyane Wade,
i bought this program about 5 and a half months ago. my jump when i started was 31". My vertical jump now is 45". This was the best investment i have ever made.
Good Video...Ive watched all your youtube videos and you look like you really know what youre talking about...im really considering buying The Jump Manual.
@mrcelitics4444 lol he did
I think he meant to say " i get e-mails of people telling me they've fucked their form"
