I believe in God because of music. When doubts fill my head, I listen to a song and my heart explodes back on fire. I mean think about it. Music is just sound...wavelengths and frequencies and pitch. Why do certain chords or progressions or pitch patterns bring about different emotions? Like really how can you explain the way music moves all of humanity? And music is bittersweet...analyze the way you feel when you listen to something beautiful. Don't you feel that unquenchable longing?

One thing i dont understand, is that if religion were true, why since the beginning of time were people killed for not believing in god? Christ says that no body will know the exact time that The Rapture will happen. Since everybody is freaking out about 2012...He will most likely not come then because then people will make sure that they are being more devout to Christ, and you should be devout to Christ every day. You shouldn't have time to change your mind at the last second saying that you believe when He does decide to come, because you should live everyday like it's your last and be loyal to Christ. :)

That day, 70,000 people saw the sun "dance", so to speak, and even change color. One Communist (For those of you who don't know, Communists back then did not want God "in the picture" of everyday life) journalist admitted that it was "truly a miracle". It was a recorded fact. One thing i dont understand, is that if religion were true, why since the beginning of time were people killed for not believing in god? They did not want any of those people getting into their heads. Its obvious. Just like how they tried to stop science from ever getting big. Which, has only made us not as technologically advanced as we should have been at this time.

Someone who hates god though, is a fool. If you dont believe in something and you dont think it is there how can you hate it? Im pretty sure someone who hates "god", only really hates themselves, and needs someone to point fingers too. But, i have not mentioned in either of these two comments, this is a great song. Regardless of it including christian views or not. I do not consider myself any religion.

I am a christian but I try to see things from other peoples viewpoint, so I can understand what they believe. The fact is, the only truly blind people in the world are the ones who say "It is physically impossible for God to exist". He MADE existence, and does a computer programmer HAVE to put any blatant clues into a program that he even exists? God wrote the laws of physics so it is not possible for it to be impossible for him to exist.

This song is such helps me feel better when i'm down. WHen I listen to it, it's just like I dont care what people say. I am a believer of christ and I am saved, theres nothing anyone can do about it. for the people who do not beleive in god and stand by that, i feel truly sorry that you dont have a clue what its like to have something so great and holy in your soul. @ihatechili The Bible is offensive. the Gospel of Christ is offensive. If it wasn't then Christianity wouldn't be so controversial. It's not that it's being forced at you it's more like hey if your not with Christ before he comes back then you're not leaving with Him either and since we have that opportunity as Christians to spread that word to you we're gonna do it as much as possible so that you don't get left behind. Whether that happens is your decision. You don't have to listen.

Christ says that no body will know the exact time that The Rapture will happen. Since everybody is freaking out about 2012...He will most likely not come then because then people will make sure that they are being more devout to Christ, and you should be devout to Christ every day. You shouldn't have time to change your mind at the last second saying that you believe when He does decide to come, because you should live everyday like it's your last and be loyal to Christ. :)

@MutantGirlfriend1 its true that nobody knows the day. but i think it means more that nobody can know for sure. cuz if he would just not come because people keep saying its gonna happen on a certain day then in theory you'd be able to stop him from coming which i just dont believe is possible. im not saying it is or isnt going to be in 2012 im just saying that the fact that many people freak out about a certain day doesnt discount the possibility that Christ returns on said day. we just wait :)

The Rapture was made up by a protestant religious group and one of their leaders, John Nelson Darby. It was Darby and his followers that came up with the idea of multiple second comings. The idea took root here in America and has since spread like wildfire among Fundamentalist circles.

Well, I dont believe in God - but thats like the "If you had one day left to live" concept. People dont act or do their very best until they realize they may not have time to do it in the future..but thats just human nature.

Worshiping isn't a mindless act that God demands or requires, as sinners what can we do but sing and rejoice, because with Jesus we are saved. @littlepro22 first of all, there have been miracles. Let me give you one example. The miracle of Our Lady of Fatima. This is not some thing made up by christians. That day, 70,000 people saw the sun "dance", so to speak, and even change color. One Communist (For those of you who don't know, Communists back then did not want God "in the picture" of everyday life) journalist admitted that it was "truly a miracle". It was a recorded fact. No hard feelings, though, alright? :)

We know now through science (evidence), that if the sun were to miraculously move (dance) it would have catastrophic effects on Earth and we would all be dead - and dont argue against that, its a fact. So yes, I believe it is a made up thing by christians. I'm sure there never were 70 000 people there in the first place
