It's close to a half ball hit, with my aiming system it's a 2 to 2 contact point. The key for the cue ball is middle right being careful not to put too much topspin or let any sneak in because that'll make you hug the end rail you want to come off of.

are you doing center ball on that second safety, or are you putting anything on it? and are you hitting it at half ball?
