I never had hallucinations when I kicked fentanyl but other then that its about this bad. I can relate to how all he could think about was the bad things he did to get his fix. Its like not only are you going through the most painful thing you ever have but your emotions and conscience come back as well and all you can think about is the people you stole from, lied to, etc. I dont know why people think the film glorifies the drug. Probably cause they havent been through the game.

I think I have already posted to this video, but alcohol withdrawals can be similar. I used to be very stuck in a binge-withdrawal cycle where in withdrawing I would go into sleep paralysis and have hypnagogic hallucinations. I believe these are not the same as DT hallucinations, but don't know for sure. Often times demons would shoot out of my walls and come right at me. There were other things. Then the next nights would be ultra-dream land. Cold sweats too. No good.
