@ThaKang0f713 Yeah it makes the most sense tbh since in the original timeline he learned Telekenisis from Ermac sometime after Shao Kahn was killed by the Deadly Alliance, which hasn't happened in this one. Plus Kenshi was supposed to have been a wandering Swordsman who became blind like Zatoichi from a series of classic japanese films. So it fits him better.

Shame I couldn't get info on if Kenshi in mk9 is still immune to Sonya's Kiss and how Styrkers X-ray will work on him

@Hannibal457 As far as I know no Kenshi will be more of a sword master type instead of his MK:DA-Armageddon versions. This was based on something Tom Brady said on a stream after PDP and he knows his stuff as he was spot on what was coming in the balance update that came this week plus NRS has been big on making characters really different from one another.

@Hannibal457 No the balance update is just to tweak some of the games balances such as: Kano's f+3 is now a low and his upward Kano ball has been tweaked to be as fast as JC's Flip kick, Baraka saw a few new tweaks, a small damage buff, his Away + FK FP is now a true pop up, Sheeva saw a small buff, Kung Lao got a small damage nerf, a global nerf on some bread and butter combos while some got a buff and they extended the online trial period for PS3 users. More tweaks in the next full patch.

@Hannibal457 I think the wiping of Wins/losses may have to do with the forth coming netcode fix in the next full patch in a few weeks which will also see Kung Lao nerf, changes to Cyrax's command grab to prevent exploiting the bomb trap, removal of Sonya's military stance infinite glitch, parry glitch, Human Sub-zero's ex-ice freeze glitch, more improvements to Baraka, Smoke's OTG gone, Kung Lao's multi hat trick is gone, Quan Chi's 100% Rune trap gone, possible tweaks to the negative edge, ect

Lol John Vogel is wrong, Kenshi doesn't translate to "swordsman" (or whatever he said) it has many translations, like autopsy, eyetooth and others. Kentaku is Japanese for swordsman :D
