Comments re. her small pupil size indicating heroin use are questionable.She's in front of bright stage lights,so of course pupils will contract.My own experience of having kicked a 10 year opiates habit is that my pupils did not get bigger after I kicked! I actually wondered if they might,but they didn't. A lot of the early side effects of opiates use, like itchy skin, profuse sweating,etc., go away once you're an addict. Probably the eyes are less affected too.Heroin didn't kill Nico,btw.

I like Nico's music, but my God, she looks like a complete disaster here. At one time she was actually a very pretty lady. Her pupils are barely visible, she looks almost dead. They should show this to kids in schools as an after school special with a before and after photo session. Still good music though.

I was (lucky to be) at a performance of hers in the early 80's.

I was saddened by the reactions of many in the audience who were only there for other acts in the show like Dead Or Alive and The Damned and New Order.
