@black88lx It happens w/ chick lead singers. I've played w/ 4 different chick singers in 4 different bands & on each occasion there came a time when they figured they're better than the band they're in. So they split &/or break up the band when they bail.

I interpret it as a relationship that happened and cannot be stopped and is on more of a euphoric level than anything else...that she is going to go with what is going on, and happiness basically just adds more euphoria. That's how I read it anyhow...love this song.

Excellent song! I've always considered Return of Saturn as the best album No Doubt has made. Even though I love several tracks of Tragic Kingdom, and the Beacon Street Collection and Everything in Time have interesting proposals as well. This is a lovely song, and I wish I was older when they toured this album!!

@Liamsdarlin Me too. They toured the shit out of Tragic Kingdom and I just stopped listening to ND. I didn't even hear about ROS until a year or so after it came out. I didn't really like it at the time as I was at the point in my life where I was just listening to metal and hardcore. ND had become one of my favorite bands yet again after all these years.
