@CPECIALLEET Are you outta your mind ? Far cry 2 is a great game , its just a little slow at points. Once you get to like 60% through it it gets insane. I play on hardcore and fights get very exhilerating.

this game had so much fucking potential. If you have your own dedicated server you can create maps in the editor and play them even if they are not authorized or exceed the limit for vehicles, explosives, etc. I made a dedicated windows server and i swear ubisoft programmers are fuckin lazy as hell. I had windows 7, so the only wat i could play those maps is if i sent them to my friend, he couldn't download them from me through the server even though i fucking enabled custom map uploading!

@mikitymike I now have a ubuntu server and this damn thing is a joke! I got the server running, but i used to be able to type commands into cmd on windows such as "net_KickPlayer 'ID'" This does not work in terminal! I also cant even USE a custom map that wasn't uploaded to ubisoft! No matter if i put "User Maps/map.fc2" or the absolute path, it still doesn't work! Ubisoft for some reason wants to kill off the Far Cry series. Sucks because it could have been so epic...

This is one of my favorite of all time. Especially with the grenade launcher & flamethrower. Two weapons that make this game fun to blow sh*t up. After about 40 hours in it does feel a bit repetitious, but it's still fun to light fields on fire on windy days and watch them sweep a whole camp. Very realistic. Finding diamonds is still fun, but they needed more upgrades. I have 314 diamonds and nothing more I want to buy. I hope FC3 has secrets and more diverse gameplay. 9 out of 10 stars!!!!

No, it has something to do with diamond shortages, your buddies, Jackal, the journalist and your main character. You'll see, its quite shocking. Unlike most games, it isn't your typical hollywood-like ending; you know, where good guys win and everybody lives happily ever after.

just finished the game....yeah, the ending sucked. I think if they trimmed the 50 hrs of gameplay back and added more variety to the missions and the ending this could have been a goty. The stunning visuals, secrets(finding diamonds), and cool weapons kept me going the whole time. If they'd of had helicopters (w/gatling guns or missiles) it would have been over the top cool.
