  • Always great instruction and video from Anthony.

  • Can anyone tell me what muscles this specific exercise works out ? thanks.

  • @seyed1 Middle Back is your primary. Abdominals, Biceps, Chest, Lats, Triceps are secondary

  • @SimplisticBeing Thank you

  • that's the juice

  • good teacher!!!! clear and direct ...thanx :)

  • Thx 4 the lesson! I could never get this move correct! & as simple as it is, I made it super difficult! LOL Thx! :)

  • i do that too. but I mix it up with push up then i row.

  • ***** !!! Thumbs up.

  • What an excellent way of explaining it! Those cues work well for me!

  • troff -- it is the angle at the hip. You can't change your height or the length of the arms.

How would you make the body angle lower.

    Logic fail on you troff!

  • @faizalenu You can prop your feet on something, not that difficult.

  • Doesn't the body angle sort of lose the whole point of the exercise? He's nearly standing! Kettlebell fail!

  • This helped me quite a bit. It is the finer point as opposed to just demonstrating that create good instruction.

  • Talking and communicating are two different things.

    I agree. He is talking.

  • Love Anthony D!

  • wow those kettlebells are pretty big and he did that so effortlessly o.o

  • View this one if you want to see the actual excercise:

  • God damn. Quick the fuckin talking and do the exercise.

    Jeez.

  • @tinasflossing It's called he's answering a question, dumbass. Maybe you should go to listening class? Yeah, that's what you should do.

  • Superb instruction, thanks for this

  • Thank you very much for this tip.

  • i've been using this lately and it's been working great. thanks a lot

  • This exercise comes naturally to me even though i didn't try it yet because i have only 1 KB.

KB training builds muscle endurance, hearth strength, conditioning, and much more. Try to do swings or snatches not for reps but for time and you will need a bucket to puke your breakfast. And dont judge the strong man by his looks if you looks at MMA you will see that most of them look like regular mortals. But strong athletes that train every day.

  • mma is just fighting with a lot of rules.. and an emphasis on grappling...pretty much nothing of what it started as

  • what martial art do you do? MMA doesn't have an emphasis on grappling.. it's simply that if a combat sport allows grappling, grappling and clinch range will become common place in a fight... the simple answer is to stop your opponent from taking a fight into clinch or grappling range is extremely difficult. Chuck Liddell was a master at neutralizing grappling attempts, because he himself was an incredible grappler. Also alot the top level MMA guys come from a grappling background.

  • o lol i don't do a martial art i just lift and run...i tried wrestling for a bit but im not coordinated enough..

  • ah coordination just takes time maybe the coaching didn't suit the way your personally learn :-) there are alot of great martial artists who said they weren't naturals.. but if your happy just lifting and running, do whatever makes you happy :-)

  • @mastervehk Dude. Seriously. Everyone can wrestle. Its as natural as climbing and running. Take a couple of BJJ or Judo classes. Be patient. One day you body will go "oh... I get it" and your coordination will go through the roof. I had the same problem in middle school. All I thought I could do was swim and play baseball. It wasn't until college that I started doing judo, capoeira, boxing, and wrestling... Suddenly, I can hang in soccer for no apparent reason. Your mind just needs to wake!

  • I agree

  • You are without a clue. Looks do not indicate strength, and Anthony is one very strong human (who I've seen lift in person).

  • And we're supposed to think you know what you're talking about with a dumb comment like that!

  • this work the abs as well?

  • yes it does quite a bit actually

  • why do all the guys on here showing kettlebell workouts hardly look like they workout?

  • Kettlebells won't make you big and pumped like western style bodybuilding with barbells and plates, kettlebells assist you in developing long lean muscle, strength, flexibility and endurance. I've done Football, Baseball, bodybuilding style weight lifting, triathlons, and martial arts, but none of those can match the fitness levels I've obtained through the kettlebell.

  • Almost every kettlebell exercise engages literally hundreds of muscles at once. Most expert level kettlebell lifters have profound functional strength without bulky size. This is because the very nature of kettlebell training triggers greater Myofibril density. Myofibrils are contractile organisms within the muscle that are directly related to strength

  • instead of worrying about how people look

why don't you just try this once and see if it's a workout?

  • This video was PERFECT, thanks for taking the time to post it. That thing you did where you put your arm out in front, was a breakthrough for me, after that, this exercise was cake.

I'm going to do that "weightless" preparation step from now on.

    THANK YOU!!!!!

  • This really helped. Made a huge difference in my ability to do these rows. Thanks much.

  • nice.....evil....nice and evil!

  • been doing kbells for months now, STILL have trouble doing these, i'll get it eventually.

  • I've been incorporating these into my workout for about a month now, but his explanation helps to clean up some of my balance issues. I hate the endless videos you see of rows where the whole body twists to compensate. Short and sweet. Great demo!

  • I dont know why this video had so many low ratings, but I gave it a 5... it is kinda short though, but he's good at explaining.

  • hit the upper back too

  • This video just helped me immensely... going to try tomorrow! (I just failed miserably yesterday at renegade rows, before seeing this)

  • Love these video's

  • i've been using kbells for close to a month (not as consistantly as i should lol), and i still can't do this excercise!

  • A good lesson in less than two minutes.

  • Very good shown! My personal favorite for the abs.
