Still a great video. btw, it is our Naval strength that is currently serving the disaster victims of Haiti, with their ability to send in the USS Comfort (floating Navy Hospital ship) and one of our carriers, capable of providing the helicopter support to get supplies into any area and convert hundreds of thousands of gallons of sea water into drinking water daily.
Finesse? Our Navy can totally obliterate all but a handful of countries with ease, leaving nothing but glass and scorched earth, and yet we never have, and you're asking about finesse? What a joke.
But that is exactly what was intended. We have tomorrows generation of military today. We always want to be ahead of the others and that is what the F-22 does for the U.S. Later down the road we're not going to have to rush to build something to meet other technologies...we already have it! And perhaps when the time comes that we do need it there will be even futher devolopment of technology, I put my money in it.
I'm a liberal and I'm proud of our men and women in the armed forces. They sacrifice their lives everyday for the country, us, and our freedom. Is it just me but at 2:42-2:44, that is not actually US Navy but the Russian Carrier Admiral Kuznetsov and those are Su-33.
I hope I am just wrong.

And @ wyodawg, the MH-53 Pave Low is a Special Forces variant flown only by the Air Force's 160th SOAR. And it's to be retired by the end of the year =( The F-117 Nighthawk was already retired and so has the F-14. Sad to see some Cold War icons go =/

Nah, they were Russian Navy Su-27 Flankers (or their dirivatives) with a Russian aircraft carrier in the background...that just didn't belong here LOL Great vid though.
A bit off tune with the music and slightly bad mix of camera angles and not really representative of the entire Navy and it's almost as if the creator has a fetish for the Ticonderoga class cruisers and the Arleigh Burke class destroyers :P

ok first of all never join the navy. They are the worst people I've ever been around. They only care about their careers and will stab you in the back. Waste of 4 yrs. Also, you will have basically zero educational opportunities, because you will be deployed. Basically they will treat you like shit because they own you by contract.

US is under economic recession..they have to borrow to around 3 billion US dollar everyday to keep their economy going.. total US debt now grew more than 88 trillion dollars and is not sustainable.. US is going down.. when their economy is down.. so does their military..

Ever heard of the great depression? That was a major/disastrous recession, and we came back strong from that. The recession may slow us down for a period of time, but it will not stop us.
