it may have been incredible casting but now that's unfortunately ancient history Jack Nicholson definitely was not I believe my idea of someone playing an evil deranged real psycotic character however David would simply of been fabulous.

because he can make something that's really very crap slightly more enjoyable you know I've literally always had this rather crazy Idea now negative responses will of course be fully accepted if Jack Nicholson had not be chosen for the role of Jack Torrance in the very scary horror masterpiece which is the Shining, David Warner might have been just extremely perfect for that kind of role and should of really have auditioned for the part I can actually just visualise him portraying Jack Torrance.

Undoubtedy in my opinion really tremendous humble actor who always has my full complete respect very interesting man who you could just honestly listen to for ever he's quite simply a legend not because of only being a very marvelous performer but what he's actually done and incredibly achieved in over 40 years seen dozen of his movies and he certainly does literally rock particularly when often portraying nasty despicable villains you can really despise Warner but also completely love him.
