  • 3:10 It's a Tie-FIghter!

  • someone please upload the FULL movie please! THE WIDESCREEN VERSION

  • a very well put together film and very insightful, so happy I found out about this film after watching that trash of a movie Pearl Harbor (2001)

  • This movie looks even more amazing on Blu-ray. If you're going to buy this movie, buy it on Blu-ray high definition. Great film.

  • pearl harbour is better because has a romantic story...lol

  • Trivia: The scene with the plane crashing into other planes starting at 3:19 ... is too real. The plane was supposed to taxi straight but it went off course. Those stunt guys are truly fleeing for their lives. Luckily nobody got hurt.

  • My dad took me to this movie in the theater. One of my best memories of him.

  • In this trailer, there are some very interesting questions! The movie didn´t answer them. Still... this film is much better than "Pearl Harbor".

  • I think the end of this movie was the best: "I fear that all we have done is awakened a sleeping giant, and filled him with a terrible resolve."

  • Near the end of the trailer, the actors were actually running for their lives as the stunt crew lost control of the plane.

  • @RoundenBrown I think that those planes really crashed there, because those flames were not a fake.

  • they don't make war movies like this any more.... these days there always working "love" and shit into it.

  • the movie pearl harbor was shit

  • My Sixth grade teacher was in Hawaii when they filmed the attack on Pearl Harbor. She thought she was being attacked, and when she went into a hotel the other people laughed and said it was just a movie!!!

  • ...the CGI in this movie looks so real! :P

  • @SteveSabbai What CGI? There wasn't even such a thing as computer graphics back when they made this

i very much doubt that there are any cgi in this film i just can't see it being possible in the slightest

i'm sure it's either models or great camera work but no way is it ever gonna be cgi though

if i'm wrong then i'm wrong but i doubt it

  • @MYBIGKINDHEART ...lol i was just kidding..i am all about old school "real" special effects...nowadays they abuse CGI everywhere they can...its a shame...PEACE! :)

  • I cant believe that the History Channel aired the POS Ben Afleck movie Pearl Harbor, instead of this Classic, which everyone knows is the best depiction of the attack on Pearl Harbor.

  • @EvilFingers i think the Ben Afleck film is a great movie which i rate highly amongst my other favourite war films such as battle of britain, 633 squadron, reach for the sky and the longest day, i'm sure i've never seen this Tora film though, i'm not sure where to get it or not, maybe i might

  • @MYBIGKINDHEART If you enjoy watching Historical WW2 Movies, Tora Tora Tora is the, most accurate than Ben Afleck's Pearl Harbor and as someone else pointed out, Tora Tora Tora has 0, zero, nada zilch CGI, compared to other WW2 related movies now.

Also, Tora Tora Tora was filmed in Oahu, not like Pearl Harbor, in which the whole scene of the ships exploding was filmed in Northern California, 40 miles north of San Francisco and I know exactly where those ships are moored.

  • "Tora, Tora, Tora" was vastly more historically accurate than "Pearl Harbor" with Ben what ever his name.

  • this is not a movie! This is a documentary in a reenacting style!

  • This is a trailer, not an exam damn it!! But still, I will watch this movie and answer all your questions good sir!

  • oh !! chuck norris no here !!

  • @MultiKingCong

Pearl Harbor showed too many fictional stuff and changes in the truth

  • today all movies is drama bla bla bla agents bla bla bla CIA bla bla bla SECRET SHIT bla bla bla SOLDIERS WITH MASKS bla bla bla GO FUCK YOURSELF!

60's and 70's movies was batter!

  • in the trailer it says that yamato was marked for assination... he was not because he was shot down by american navy... i dont know if i what im saying is 100% accuret

  • @SGTSAM101ST Yamamoto was shot down in April of 1943 by a squadron of USAAF P-38 Lightnings, SPECIFICALLY sent after him after US intelligence found out he was flying into Bouganville.

  • propaganda at its best

  • My favorite Pearl movie. Michael Bay can SUCK ON IT!!

  • best line in tora! tora! tora!: you wanted confirmation captain? TAKE A LOOK! THERE'S YOUR CONFIRMATION!

  • Epic Movie! Watched it in my school for the first time when I was 10 years old :D good times good times

  • So, the 1 person that disliked this would rather watch PEARL HARBOR?

  • Because it was a false flag!

  • Does anyone know where to watch this movie online? If not on YouTube, is there anywhere else online where this film is available...for free and without having to join anything? I mean, to watch it at anytime online. I love this film and I wish I didn't have to wait for it to show on TV. That's why I'm asking if it's available for free to watch at any time online.

  • This a some REAL strange trivia for you all...When this movie originally aired, all the commercials were for "Mitsubishi" cars.....Ooooooo, spooky! Revenge?

  • This still is the greatest Pearl Harbor film ever made and im my opinions still looks just as good effects wise because of the complete lack of CG (that right i said it Michael Bay)

  • At 3:20, that stuntman is not acting - he's truly running for his life! Holy crap!

  • @crispiegee1 lmao didn't notice, u made my day !

  • CGI got nothin on this here film!

    Jman

  • @Kabul81 Real planes, real ships, real explosions!!!!

  • @silvanski Actually most of the ships were models and sets and they only used five or six planes for the whole thing. A little paint and plastic and a big pond and a good special FX team can do wonders cant they.

  • @Kabul81 You got that right.

  • Haha I like how zomg has to say look it up for everything he says :p

  • There were dozens of warning signs that the Japanese were going to attack, even the sinking of a Japanese Midget Sub that was sunk by the USS Ward (a Destroyer Escort) patrolling near the mouth of the Harbor wasnt enough to sound the General Alarm and by the time there was any confirmation of the attack and sinking of the Midget Sub, it was too late.

  • How did they get 4000 miles undetected?

    Radio silence

  • @ROFLPS3suckz It wasnt only Radio Silence that prevent the Japanese Fleet from being detected, they were also using a Large Storm as cover.

  • The attack on Pearl Harbor was allowed to happen. There were warnings in advance.

Military Industrial Complex has evolved! Power Up! Level 2!

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew your a fucking dumb asses. a simple watching of this movie will tell you other wise. this movie is one of the most historical movies EVER made.

any ways get your facts right before commenting on historical events. and not scanning conspiracy websites 24/7

  • @Dogmeat1950 Oh shut up you boring cow. Our government was still secretly infecting poor people with HIV and other horrible diseases to study the effects during the time this film was made, look it up, it's declassified now. Our government had also overthrown Iran's democratic government from inside the U.S. embassy. Yes we over-threw a democracy and placed a tyrant king in place of it for the oil. That's why Iran hates us so much today. They won't teach you many facts in your school textbooks.

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew Hey dumb shit. this film is not just a American film. it was a joint project by the USA and Japan. good job showing how dumb you are and changing the subject. also this film has NOTHING to do with the Government. it wasn't made by the government.

O by the way Iran wasn't a Democracy dumb shit. try parternal autocrat! shows how much you know about Iran even before the USA got in there. or did you forget that they had dealings with the USSR?

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew there is shit your dumb Conspiracy web site won't teach you either. by the way 99% of all Conspiracy's are made up.

  • @Dogmeat1950 Firstly I do not believe in conspiracies so stfu with that shit. Secondly your 99% statistic is bullshit, stop making numbers up, you sound like a 9/11 truther with that nonsense. Everything I've mentioned is true. Look it up, the government has declassified documents in the last few years. Australia warned the U.S. of a huge Japanese fleet heading towards Hawaii.

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew um. NO it's no,t Iran never was a Democracy it was parternal autocrat.

So good job on proving your facts are wrong. also the Japanese fleet left Japan with Radio Silence.

If anyone had any idea it was Stalin, who kept the info to himself days before the attack, sorry champ but I getting a major in military history so try again.

also the U.S Military went on alert Nov 31 under speculation of a attack but was no evidence,

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew ya....you need to try a lot harder. your going up against a Military historian who will destroy you in that field of knowledge.

  • @Dogmeat1950 You argue like a 16 year old whose favorite movie is "Saving Private Ryan". You are no historian. Look up the Gulf of Tonkin lie. What the U.S. government used as the reason to invade Vietnam. It was declassified recently that the second attack, the one we used to invade, never happened. If you were a real historian you would know that. You are a silly child. The U.S. government lies to the people when it's convenient. One day soon everyone is going to see our gov'ts true colors.

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew saving private Ryan isn't a bad movie it's not a true story but it's based on real events.

    Also Vietnam was never invaded,

O on that note I have taken 1 full year in Indo-China Studies and had a father who did 4 tours in Vietnam with Naval Spec ops unit Hal3det5,he was also in the Cambodian Incursion.

sorry but you have failed again in basic history.

"It was declassified recently " try 30 years ago lol. O when that happen the USA already had people in Vietnam dummy.

  • @Dogmeat1950 The documents were declassified on Jul 15th, 2010 dummy. Your ignorance is so pervasive there is no hope for you. Just keep your head buried in the sand. When the economy collapses and the US citizens realize the international bankers have been using our tax dollars to fund their illegal wars, and supporting a weapons industry in the trillions of dollars. You will wake up. Our country's industry has been dismantled and sent over-seas. Our country is fascist-capitalism. Goodbye k thx

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew Um no. gulf of Tokin and what happen there has been known about since the early 1980's.

Now @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew I want you, to tell me what is a Illegal war and then I want you to tell me what is a legal war? can you do that for me? please...

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew ya... your still young have a lot to learn. and as I said cut down on BS websites and pick up a book or talk to people that where there.

As I said, surfing the web for bits of info is not going to help against someone who knows history.

    Care to try again?

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew You tool. The US and the Japanese were preparing for a potential war for years, that's a fact. But why would the US allow the Japs to take out their pacific fleet, exactly what they need to fight the war. If anything they were expecting the Japanese to attack the Philippines or Guam or another US territory. That was exactly why they bombed the fleet, to slow down the US's reaction so the Japanese could make their move. Learn some history.

  • @Redgrant80 You are a fool. The U.S. military was pathetic pre WW2 compared to what it became. The American public as a whole did not want to participate in WW2. The Japanese were allowed to attack us to get the U.S. energized and supportive. Sure we lost a fleet, but after the attack our military strength grew exponentially. Tool.

  • @zOMGLaserGunzPewPew If they knew that they were going to attack the base, why wouldn't they just prepare for the fight and kick their asses? 1. They'll save lives and equipment. 2. It would energize the public even more cause it would have been a victory. You also forget that the Pacific Fleet where the only ships we had in the Pacific at the time. Without them the Allies were vulnerable. No one could ever afford to sacrifice an entire fleet.

  • @Redgrant80 That's correct. Notice how all of the ships lost at Pearl Harbor were old WW1 ships and how the newer Aircraft Carriers had been sent on a mysterious mission to put just a few lousy planes on Wake Island just at the right time. This was no accident and no surprise, accept to the two people who needed to know but were left out of the communications loop...Adml Kimmel and Gnl Short were not told what everyone on top in Washington knew.

  • @356butch Can you tell me exactly what everyone on top in Washington knew?

  • @Redgrant80 Yes. There is evidence that code purple and the more important IJN codes were cracked well before the attack. We had 7 communication stations monitoring everything the IJN was saying as early as Sept. 1940. 14 months before the attack. Contrary to reports, the IJN was very talkative from 25 Nov. to 5 Dec. 1941 and payed no regard for radio silence. DC knew what day (7 Dec.), how large a force and that it would be at dawn . That should have been enough don't you think?

  • @356butch They also practiced radio deception regularly. And yes the fleet DID attempt to maintain radio silence And no, they did NOT completely decrypt the purple code prior to the attack. Also in this time carriers weren't considered to be the most valuable ships in the navy but battleships where.

  • @Redgrant80 Contrary to popular myth, code purple was in fact broken by 25 Sept. 1940. More importantly, we had broken the IJN 5 num codes by the same time the following year which actually identify the ships. 129 messages were intercepted and decoded from the time the IJN arrived at Hitokappu Bay up to 5 Dec. 60 from Nagumo himself. You are correct about the carriers; however, they were newer and the Iowa class battleships had gone into production in 1938. What remained at PH was expendable.

  • this looks badass

  • This is still better then that Pearl Harbor movie

  • @peterahjorter I Agree with you. This film is a million times better than Pearl Harbour. Pearl Harbour Sucks. :)

  • @Frserthegreenengine My thoughts exactly. They should have been more historically accurate with Pearl Harbor. I hope they learned their lesson.

  • @pantherbuff89 Yeah I hope they did.

  • @peterahjorter It is. That hokie love triangle and too much, too much CGI really doomed that movie for me and I love war films!

  • @peterahjorter anything is better than that crap with aflick, people who watch ww2 flicks are most into the war or historians.....that movie was the worst ever, actully it was the most walked out or money refunded movie in motion piture history! even ben boy was sad......his great uncle who was in the war said....."your were so off, you were dresed like a halloween freek" quote.....Jason Aflick 2/1/24- 8/9/04.

  • "The most spectacular film ever made!"

Funny how direct it was then, now it's indirect

  • @nintendokings

Tora! Tora! Tora! is still a lot better than most movies that are produced today. CGI and all that other crap ruins most movies.

  • the american were pritty lucky that they didn't had any carriers on pearl harbor

  • @vernelen1 Lucky? We just make more. u don't know anything.

  • @tommy407 Yes we were pretty lucky. While the American war effort produced over 100 fleet and escort carriers by the end of the war, the few we had at our entry was vitally needed. Without the ones that survived, the battle of Midway and other ones would probably not be a major turning point, and the war in the pacific would stretch on much, much longer.
