lol, it is better than a soft pad, but it breaks constantly. I have to move the little start/select box around for about 15 minutes every time I play in order to get the back arrow to work. I have no idea why that happens, but it has to be in just the right position for the back arrow to work. , lol :)

But still, having a metal mat is just better than a soft one. If i ever get a lot of money, i will more than likely invest on a Cobalt Flux pad, world's most durable DDR pad ^_^.

yes, I know! I Want one of those so bad!

The only reason I bought this one was because it was really cheap. I got it for $60 used

but someday I will buy a cobalt flux pad... someday
