Chiyo is a complicated character. Lmao, it took me five tries during the Sasori mission to realize that A and B were to control different puppets XD Yeah im that slow.

chiyo is the most easy character to wield once you get the hang of her move ill tell you how i beat up all my opponents with her when i use her i first start of by using puppet with the red hair which is the faher puppet i keep using him then if i start to lose a bit i do a combo by pressing A, A , B, B, B, then A, A again to make a good combo it rly works

@TheChowderman Any character is easy to use once you've mastered it. Chiyo's learning curve is a lot steeper then all the others though. Plus, I don't like her moveset. It feels clunkier than it has to be. Just my opinion though, I'm sure there are plenty of people who would disagree with me.

I cant play chiyo for shit. her puppets dont follow her where she goes so if your opponent is right by you and the puppets are across the stage you're fucked, she has no way to call them back to her

@Triforce9426 actually she does have a way to call them back, jump and push either attack button, or once in LNP do Back Grab

Word of advise for Chiyo (I main her).

Always, and I mean ALWAYS keep one of the puppets near you at all times. It's very vital for surviving with Chiyo. I generally keep the A attacking puppet close, and send the b attack out to do dammage.

This prevents you from being open if they manage to substitute behind you. Hope it helps. Chiyo is really good once you learn how to use her.

all of you are really noobs, chiyo are the perfect chracter she is even overpowered, just need to know to use it, if you take puppet dad, and left it by your side and atack whit popet mom when ever your enemy try to get close to you u atack whit popet that, just PRO people at using chiyo can atack whit both popets and be ready for the defense, if u are noob at using chiyo u need to keep 1 popet by your side to defend u in case your enemy get close NEVER SEPARETE AL PUPETS FrOm CHIYO

I'll hint you on using any puppet master characters; use puppets when your opponent is at a didstance, use taijutsu then they are close. Those are the very simple instructions to a puppet master.

Oh yeah, that's great advice...if the character HAS any Taijutsu. Chiyo can't do ANYTHING herself except for her shield and her special. And maybe her throw, but I've never tried that. ALL of her attacks are done by the puppets.

@SenseiMewto12345 Hmmm lemmi guess... you have not tried playing Chiyo yet, have you? She's totally different from Kankuro... Her range as a puppeteer is great with Mother and Father within her control. However she is left defenseless when she controls the puppets. She needs to focus on attacking the enemy and defend herself simultaneously. She has no other attacks whatsoever besides her 2 puppets.

@softmohican At the time, no I had not tried Chiyo, but you can pull a similar stratrgy to Kankuro by just simply keeping Father near you and using Mother to attack. (Father because hi sattacks can block substitution) but you can sill be separated from your puppets, so really, Chiyo is not a great character to play as. Kankuro however, with the addition of a new puppet that always stays near you, I find I hardly ever use Kankuro himself unless Im separated from both Crow and Black Ant.

@TheChowderman I know, but your oponents strategy may not always let you do this. If you are separted and caught in close combat, its pretty easy to circle around while you bring puppets back. Kankuro is my preferred puppet user. All you do with him is use Crow as your attacker, and if they substitute or get too far from Crow, jump and use Black Ant with throw. Its not easy to hit with Ant, but if you do, you give yourself enough time to bring back crow, and if Ant misses, attack yourself

@TheChowderman (Sorry for double post, it takes 2 posts to explain) After attacking with yourself, you have allowed more than enough time for Crow to return to you regardless of whether or not it got blocked. And if you get hit, Substition will, of cource, return both puppets to you, so if you have enough chakra (Half is enough to use a wake-up Substitute, so not all that much is needed) do that, and continue attacking with Crow. Then, if all else fails, remember that Crow has ranged attacks.

@badush13, if you're seriously stuck, spam Chiyo's Down+ A. It sends him flying and does damage. It worked for me after I figured it out (after 60 tries and fails otherwise). Hope this helps.

@badush13 just use the father puppet he'll do more damage than the mother also if ur puppets r rly far from chiyo put in this move down control stick throw button and click on either A or B to bring the puppet back A is to bring back the father puppet and B is to bring back the Mother puppet.

When fighting deidara use naruto's down A, and run away, keep doing that till you get your special full, then use naruto's jump special. Keep doing that and then get deidara's health low and hit him with your normal special.
