Ireland is beautiful but if you live there it has it's faults and problems like any country. Much more so then the scenery, is the people and the 'craic' - i've moved to London for college and the people just aren't the same!
hey, try to obtali work there if you lve it,i see you are only 19,young enough for a new start, but you can't run from problems in you head, you take them with you,bom viagem
hi bartolo, touche! good comment, but you know when i was in Portugal a helluva lot of portuguese wanted to live and work abroad but they always came back and built large vivendas,'novas ricas' i'm not sure of the correct term but you have a saying for it in portugal and they are looked 'down' on is this not true?Lisboa sera bela mas setubal nao mi gosto, ponte vasco de gama, estoril etc foram muitas lindas
hi have you ever been to Ireland? it has lovely scenery but i think a lot of people view it through rose-tinted glasses,in the winter it is cold and rains heavily for long periods, have you ever seen the film 'angela's ashes? depressing and damp,as my uncle said 'you can't eat scenery,to me covilha, castelo branco etc are very similar, but obviously have a different climate, being near the atlantic and at the same longtitude it has a similar coastline gosto de portugal a queria muito a vivir la'
hi father is irish and i spent many a year as a child on a farm in kerry which is beautiful, but also lived/travelled in Portugal which is very similar and also beautiful,i loved it -monchique etc
I've spent eight months in Ireland and fell in love with this country and its people. I can't wait to get back there and spent my life in Eire. I love it!
Sounds like and looks like an amazing place. I have never been to Ireland, But I am planing of going overseas to study there, if I win the lottery that is. JeSuisAlle, what is the temperature like there during summer and winter? How is life in general there? lol sorry if I'm bugging you. Thanks
Hi JeSuisAllee:) Thank you for leaving such a nice note! You live in or near Ireland? Wow..how I envy you..! I have never been happier than when I was there, it's such an amazing place and I the people were so welcoming and friendly. Since I can't get there as much as I would like-the next best thing is seeing the places in a video.. I am glad you enjoyed it:)

I really appreciate all the nice comments.
Ireland is an amazing place, I only wish video could really capture the beauty better.
The music in the video is by Darby Devon and the song is "Highlands". Here is a link to her album:
