  • @marvelouzMe Thankyou.

  • You might find less difficult positions for your fingers for sure.

  • @MrThantas I assure you I analysed the piece thoroughly- for proper retention of harmony the difficult fingering was required.

  • Just Beautifull!

You make it look so easy, despite the 115 takes :D

Thank you, I thought there was no notes for guitar i first heard it on Pride and Prejudice and wanted to play it so badd!!

Is it possible if you mail me the sheet music please, it would mean alot :)

  • Good effort! Check your tuning before you record though!

  • Good going buddy, this inspired me to play this as I watched and I managed to figure it out on the spot. Can be played beautifully in the D minor Harmonic Scale :)

  • @RMDOTE7 Well, that is what it was written in orginally. :)

  • I understand you completely. I've been playing for decades but my hands shake and sweat so much prior to a performance that I'm barely able to get through it (and sometimes...I haven't). Keep working on it. You did very well on your video (despite "115 takes")! I'm looking around for the sheet music for Rondo and that is how I found you. Good luck.

  • @rvltch Thanks very much.

  • amazing...i wanted to listen that

    song on guitar so bad.....

  • @elis2150 Excellent.

  • @williamthechang er... thanks?

  • any chances of sharing the tabs?

  • Sheet music yes, tabs no- I haven't ever really used tabs.

If you PM me with your email address though, I can see if I still have the score somewhere on my computer when I get home.

  • Very nice!

I've tried this on the piano and the violin, but it's not nearly as good as yours :)

  • Yes, but the violin is a much harder instrument in my opinion!

    Thanks for the comment.

  • So beautiful the sound of the guitar. My 2nd most favorite instrument, no doubt.

  • What is your favourite?

  • The piano :)

  • yea well done! i'm working on carulli andante in a minor right now,

  • Thankyou very much.

  • youre right hand looks weird...i mean the way your playing with yourself with the right hand ...i mean your...er, i'll just stop.......

  • Lol...

  • wows it took you 115 takes?? O.O

your such a natural i swear!

As you have already seen before i cannot play this on violin so i deleted that video. ill just take another when i get better.

Good job on ur playing! Sounds so beautiful *tears* =]

  • Nah, far from a natural. I just practice a lot.

The key is practice- keep trying!

  • great man!! very good job

  • Thanks!

  • holy crap woooooow *_* really great!!!

  • Thankyou!

  • pretty nice, boy :)!

  • Thankyou!

  • I love it. I was looking for some good classical songs to play on my guitar. I think I'll try to learn this one :)

  • Thanks.

It is rather a good one- I find it rather tricky to find pieces I like for the classical guitar.

  • This sounds se beautiful. You know... I tried playing this on my guitar but it sounds horrible (didn't take guitar lessons) .... Actually I never took music lessons at all ..... not even piano. I learned by myself. 5*

  • Thankyou very much. Lessons can only do so much- the teacher shows you the door- it is you that has to walk through it.

  • i play it with my friend, he plays violin and i play guitar, sounds very good

  • I'd like to hear a recording of that!

  • i love it

  • Thankyou very much.

  • your welcome and please keep playing

  • so soothing....lovely.

  • Thankyou very much :)

  • This is wonderful mate!

  • Why thankyou :)

  • What an incredible talent you have! Bravo!!!

  • Thankyou very much!

  • Did you make this arrangement? It's a nice, simple arrangement that manages to hit all the right notes without anything superfluous. Perfect for this piece!

I realize this is a year old, but it's well played! Is there any chance for you to re-record and upload this one sometime in the near future?

  • I did make it; a symbol that this time last year I had too much time on my hands! lol.

I'm probably not going to rerecording, this one had a few errors, and I am now a better guitarist, but I try and keep moving on with my music. If I do a performance I might take a recording there.

  • it is so different from orchestra version, but I love it! Thanks for posting! guitar's calm tune sounds so peaceful~~

  • Thankyou- it should be noted that piece was originally for harpsichord before Britten pinched it for a somewhat more rousing orchestra sound.

  • Orchestra version suck. But this is awesome! :))) Brilliant work!

  • Thankyou very much. :)

  • Nice :)

  • Thankyou very much.

  • wow!!!!!!!

    u play REALLY well!!!!!!!!!!

  • I play okay lol.

Thankyou very much for the kind comment.

  • very nice!

  • Thankyou very much.

  • This isn't stored anywhere online, however if you pm your email address to me I would be more than happy to send you a pdf. If you use it please reference me :D

  • Thanks, but I'm already undergoing tuition for that very thing! However, I'll bear it mind.

I hope you find a way to deal with your performance anxiety, too.

    Thanks for the comment.

  • Nice song choice, and I like the way you play it. Keep playing and learning; I promise you'll never regret the time you spend on the guitar.

  • Thankyou very much!

  • Faster? I disagree with that, I played it faster on the piano version and it just sounded wrong to me. Stronger downbeat? Right you are :)

    Thanks very much :)

  • I only hear the left side. Play FASTER, with a stronger downbeat! Otherwise nice job.

  • mad skills Phil!

  • Thanks very much!

  • really good sound. you just have to put more feeling into it and keep working your technic.especially the right hand technic, you are putting too much tesion on it.

    congratulations and keep playing!!

  • I am aware of the tension in my right hand- it's mainly down to a lack of finger strength, but I'm working on it.

    Thanks very much.

  • minha nossa!!! perfeito..

    Really Nice!!

  • Thanks very much!

  • awesome job! My ensemble has played this one.

How long have you been playing guitar?

  • Thanks very much.

When I recorded that I had been playing for about 2 years, now about 2 1/2.

  • wow can u send me the notes please i play piano but i think i can convert it thanku ps: you're really tallented

  • Thankyou kindly- I have accidentally deleted most of my files (you already asked for the piano version from me before now). I promise I will get them to you by Christmas, I'm just a little tied up right now with University... Sorry...

  • oh my gosh thankyou , youu dont know how much this means to me im passionnate about music you've helped me so much thankyou:)

  • Can't beat acoustic. Sounds nice.

  • Thanks very much!

  • Hey, you're playing is great, so relax and enjoy it more! It shows through your perfomance that your really tense, not that anyone would blame you! Your playing is amazing so have a more positive attitude and people will notice the difference in your performance, because your emotions do effect it! =D Good luck!

  • Thanks very much for the advice. Sorry it took so long to reply, no internet!

  • great job! well done!

  • Thanks very much!

  • was this in pride & prejudice? that is my favorite movie, you play really really good!

  • I honestly don't know whether or not it was; much to my shame I have never seen it!

Thankyou very much for the compliment.

  • I assume this is with the mic you recommended. Sounds great of course your playing is awesome.

  • Yeh this is the one. Thanks very much for your compliment!

I was really impressed with the sound.

  • So beautiful and so clear. Great job!

  • Thankyou. There are a couple of slips though :p

  • Great classical guitar! So relaxing to listen to

  • Well, thanks very much!

I must confess I'm a little starstruck that you should find time to comment upon my videos!

  • You have talent and skill that will make you a star! So starstruck you will get over real fast!

  • good one - ive tried it and so know how difficult it is to get just right. I think you caught the spirit of the piece well

  • Thankyou. I found the barred chords the hardest bit myself, expecially the strange inverted Dminor chord!

  • Usually I'm not very into classical music, but I heard this song from Purcell on the P&P Ost and I truely love it! Great performance!

  • I don't know about great, but thankyou very much !

  • I immensely enjoyed that! I love the classical guitar, especially in the renaissance style. And thank you for your support on dumping on Dimitri's haters, being a personal friend of his, I couldn't just sit by. If you want to see some of my playing (which is really just improvising), go ahead and watch my dump on him after I bulldoze dragonforce!

  • Well thankyou very much indeed for your kind words. I'll check out your vids when I get back from labs later!
