actually no dude...the synchro was there. We tend to mind only the protagonists..not the people who were in the background,who made the hearts and the jellyfish appear at the correct time.You've gotta admit it must have been a tough job for them. And the presentation in itslef was fab..the marlboro sequence,the hearts sequence,the spider web and the mirror-image thingy...I'd say they did deserve gold. :)
