  • oh my god his fingers are pretty much vibrating. That's amazing

  • That recorder doesn't do you justice, your a good flute player.

  • Low D sounds so nice.. :)

  • Very Cool I just Play a normal metal flute but I find Irish Flutes Interesting.

    :)

  • how much does a tipple flute cost

  • Yotvata!!!

  • Love this tune! You did it justice!

  • le son est magnifique

  • I have one of Doug Tipple's flutes. It is wonderful!

  • Okay....Thanks......Now i'm off to order a Tipple Flute!!!!!

  • Well on Dougs website on the first page it says he has small, medium, large sized flutes.......I'm guessing you might have a large???

  • Ahh, ok. Yes, I have a ''large sized D flute'', it's a ''normal'' sized irish D flute. The ''medium sized D flute'' is a piccolo, about the size of a high D whistle (very small and high pitched). Good luck

  • @Caitlynsirisheyes

Can't not make a childish comment about that now :P

  • Moojeni.......I was wondering......I am getting a tipple flute and was wondering was size your flute is....is it large or medium??? I would appreciate it if you reply as an irish dancer and a tin whistler.....

    Caitlynsirisheyes

  • What does that mean? It's a normal sized D flute...

  • is that pvc pipe?

  • Yes, it is

  • Did you make this your self? If you did how do you know how big to make all the wholes?

  • @bubu1684: It's a flute made by Doug Tipple. Just Google for "Tipple Flute". I have one and it's really sweet to play. The tone is strong and it's easy to play.

  • In this video, 1 day, lol. It's horrible now that I see it a year later. But thanks!!

  • Great job man!!!

  • wow, that sounds awesome!

Can you please post more vids with the tipple flute?

    Thanks!

  • how long does it take for you to learn the right embrochure? i'm thinking of starting the flute

  • It really depends on the person, but I don't think you can develop a strong and stable embouchure before some months at the earliest.

Also, there are days where you can have a very good embouchure and days here you can hardly get out a tone of the flute..

It's very important to practice at least a bit everyday to improve it. It's very worth!

    Good luck.

  • Nice to read. Tutorials here and there depict the art of making sound out of a flute something easy as drinking a glass of water or no more than that. This is encouraging. Thank you! :-)

  • It is a Doug flute? Have a good sound!

  • Gotta love the Banshee

  • Very NIce!

Bad Mike, but u can play the flute very good!

    Go on!

  • Oh Wow! You are amazingly good! I LOVE this tune! I want to learn it on my harp now. :-)

  • Hey, thanks for the compliment!

By the way, this is one of my favorite reels, and if you ever learn it and record it in Gmajor played on your harp, I could make a video response playing along with a high D tin whistle :)

    Cheers,

    Martin

  • Do you happen to have the tableture for it? :-)

  • That's great.

  • tocas exelente!

me encanto tu video tambien ^-^

te doi las 5 estrellas jaja :D

  • Its sounding good. Keep up the practice!

    a

  • Thanks man, see ya on C&F ;)

  • Great playing here, especially on a Tipple!

  • Thanks, I hope to keep improving! =)
