@MrSleeps I used to own a scooter, a Yamaha Aerox. This was a really sports / race oriented scoot with big tyres (for a scooter ofcourse) and decent suspension. It cornered like a maniac, even faster than my Suzuki SV did. Both vehicles were stock. This particular scooter however, yeah I think you're right, it's not made for fast cornering, but the Aerox was, and boy it was a blast :P Pin the throttle wide open and blast through tight corners with the greatest of ease. Was awesome.

The stability of a scooter will never be the same as full-size motorbike, of course. But some people modify their scooters to the extreme, and adds extra weight around the body of their scooters + enhances the strength of the chassis in various ways, to optimize stability and control in races, and makes cornering, such as this, easy as a pie =)

@pcgamesolution Don't run the tire out of tread on the edge...if you do, it slides, the rear will slide first since that's where the most force is trying to escape, the above will happen. There's only a certain lean angle which X bike with Y tires at Z PSI and Q weight rider can accomplish.

Those tiny scooter tires were never made to have tread on hard lean angles.

@pcgamesolution Also, god-forbid you press the rear-brake like that - he completely let off (he shouldn't have), but if you tap the rear-brake that ass-end will dump like that in no-time.

That's why so many riders high-side (go over the bike), they tap the brakes or run it too deep, rear end starts to kick out, but it's locked b/c they're braking.. Then they release the brake, it catches, but the bike is now sideways, wheels don't turn that way.
