Sam Hulick - Shepard's Return

Unfortunately, I asked Sam if this will make it to the game and he said it won't because it doesn't fit to any particular scene within the game. I'm sure the other songs will make up for it, though.

Have you listened to Mansell's soundtracks? He wrote all of the music for Requiem For A Dream. If you haven't heard Lux Aeterna, you have no right to suggest Mansell is inferior to Wall and/or Hulick. I can't express how happy I am that Bioware canned its previous composers; Mansell will grace ME3 with one of the greatest game soundtracks ever conceived.

@blaknite16523 Sam Hulick created this. It's not from anything, as far as I know. It's just something he created for Mass Effect 3, which is something he is not working on officially.

I'm curious to see how closely Mansell will adhere to the style of the previous ME scores. Most of his work seems to revolve around guitars, violins, and pianos... which is all well and fine, but doesn't seem particularly fitting to what has been established. Some of his stuff on Pi was synth-based, but it was a long time ago, and a heck of a lot... cheesier, for lack of a better term. Colour me apprehensive. I'm not sure if it's in a good or bad way yet.

I think Clint Mansell was a very bad choice for ME3. Especially since Jack Wall and Sam Hulick already establishd a great soundtrack. I guarantee you that Mansell will not take the time to listen and learn from ME1 and 2, and he'll just do what he wants and in the end it will ruin ME3.

@M00shu Most people think of him as the Requiem for a dream guy(Good reason, so many fan videos.) and really only that. Meanwhile most of his work is more electronic. It'll certainly be interesting to see how good the soundtrack will be compared to ME1 and ME2's.

He's pretty talented. im looking forward to seeing what Mansell brings to the franchise.

Im sure we'll see some of the music from 1 and 2 resurface like before when ME2 reused some of 1's music.

I didn't know! The final chapter of Mass Effect won't be the same without Jack Wall and Sam Hulick. Their work has been epic so far. I wonder who will they bring aboard to create the score for Mass Effect 3. I guess there are lots of other talented composers out there but ME3 will sound very different!

DAMN this one is so good.it makes me think of the cut scene it could be used in.The Normandy flying in from deep space starting with a dialogue between Shepard and Joker.Though it may not be in the game later on,I'm hoping for just as great soundtrack as the previous 2.The game will be awesome no doubt about that,but i hope they will find another great composer a so we can completely enjoy the game and the storyline.

Wow, i love this, thank you, i really hope whoever is working on the music does a good job. thats always a very important part for proper emotional connection. I am excited that its possible for something better to come of this, but also afraid of something worse, keep your fingers crossed!
