  • As cute as grandma is surullos are not made with white flour or baking soda I find it hard to believe that someone in the deep country had all those ingredients for a very meal staple. Arina de mais, water, and either salt or sugar to taste are all that were needed to make surullos besides the oil or lard to fry them in.

  • @relisa1978nov i do them like u say but i add a egg yolk and some seasoning i also put some butter and my sorullos are dip with ketchup garlic and mayo yumn!!

  • @Police19005 No hay cantidad de agua en especifico solo hechale hasta que se pueda volver "la masa" manejable o gomosa pero no pegajosa... :)

  • How much salt did she use in the water and also was that baking soda taht she pinched?

  • @Louis69 sorry so late but she used half a 1/4 cup of salt and that was baking powder its hard to find that in grocery stores
