Hey. I do research on Listeria, and Health Canada is serious when they say that the chances of getting Listeriosis is small... it is particularily harmful to immunocompromised people, children, and the elderly. It's also extremely harmful to fetuses. It's not like anyone can consume a couple of cells and boom their sick. I know, however, know a younger lady who was completely healthy but was admitted to the ICU here with Listeriosis. It's not the funniest thing to joke about.
