  • could u make a vid that shows how to do those rock faces?

  • @draco900000 i can tell you how we did it. the back is just plywood with chunks of styrofoam glued to it for the angles, then the cracks and spaces were filled with triple expanding foam (hardware store) the whole thing was covered over with plaster and then painted with different layers of browns, blacks and greys. it was fun too! thanks!

  • Nice! I'm glad to see that your american Flyer engines shoot sparks everywhere too. lol

  • ya, they have been cleaned and restored,,but i guess there age still shows somtimes. it adds to the show! ha!

  • Your welcome. Hope it helps. Thanks again for the video. Keep running your American Flyer Trains. Wish MTH made "S" gauge trains.

  • Now, add a drop oil on the brass bearing

inside the brush bracket on that whistling billboard. It may smooth out that whistle. Also, sounds like one of the air channels may be plugged.

  • thanks for the tip!!

  • is that the original sound that came with it?!?!

  • what did you do to that gp7

  • That was a total junker, it had no motors and a cracked over painted shell. so it got cut down into a diesel "beep".

  • oh ok that looks cool you need to make a video about all of your engines

  • excellent - nice layout and good to see the original flyer track and transformers 5*s

  • Thanks!! yep, its all original flyer. two restored 15B transformers handle the trains and whistle. a smaller 22004 transformer handles the lights etc.
