i don't understand how the warm air , after giving up its heat to the refrigerant causes the the refrigerant fluid to vaporize.

@007MOORER - A heat [energy] transfer occured - the refrigerant absorbs the heat from the air - which warms the refrigerant and turns it to vapor.

@007MOORER Because of Charles Law, pressure increases temp increases, pressure drops temp drops.
