  • Whats the point of bringing India and Pakistan into this :O

I respect, Shaukat Ali, Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Attaullah Khan, Gurdas Mann, Kuldeep Manak Equally. They are all legends and will their music is immortal. Why bring countries in the matter of Music? :O

  • @jovey15794 There is no "Indian Punjabi" or "Pakistani Punjabi".

Punjab was once a Nation itself with its own culture, language, identity.

True Punjabis never felt "Indian" or "Pakistani" they were just PUNJABIS.

    Long Live Punjabiyat!

  • @jovey15794 well said. when you name Kuldeep Manak, his song "tere tille ton" is enough to rank him among the best of best, of course, not meant to degrade any other singer though.

  • great

  • great

  • Please Asif Bhai upload " Rabba sohnian noon qaid kara day tera kehra mull lagda" by Shaukat Ali.

  • he is my father fav singer..no dought he is very best in Folk singing

  • nice song

  • very good i like the style of s.alli

  • SHAUKAT ALI OF MALAKWAL

  • If any artist touch your heart, or you feel relax after listening him/her

It dozen’s matter from where he belongs

  • Such a beautiful song. I wonder how i never got to hear it before....maybe because I was brought up in India. Shd start listening to Shaukat Ali.

  • half of punjab is in pakistan losers..some of the most sikh religous places are in pakistan

  • @Hajmail half of the punjab? Indian Punjab is quarter the size of Pakistani Punjab. Pakistani Punjab has three times the population of Indian Punjab. The most ancient Punjabi cities, Lahore and Multan, are also in Pakistani Punjab.

Even their Guru Nanak was born in Pakistani Punjab, which means demographically speaking, Sikhism is a Pakistani religion. Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the only Sikh to have ruled Punjab, was from Gujranwala Shehr (Pakistani Punjab).

This rant is meant for Sikh Kids.

  • ohh majhaa aa gaya paaji...

  • he is our national asset

  • wow nice g

  • very beautiful song with folk touch

  • If Punjabi language describes who should be a true Punjabi singer? what should he look like? how should he sound? Only one name comes in our minds. Shaukat Ali. Atrue Ambassador of Punjabi maan boli. A living Legend. We are all proud of you Shaukat Phajii. Allah Kareem aapko sada abaad rakhein. Zor-e-gulu isi tarah darakhshaan rahey. Ilahi Ameen

  • just to put alot of people's mind at rest ymn1 you say we aint punjabi your saints is buried in our punjab true and so if where not by blood why the hell you leaft him there then little know it all ?dip stick your fourfather was from there .

  • amazing

    thanks for posting

  • He is a great singer.Pakistan sure produces the best in punjabi music

  • naah you must be on crack, all the pakis I know listen to the punjabi artists on india side, mohd sadiq, kuldeep manak, chamkila - these are the one's which reach international fame - not the pakistani artists

  • ymn1: he maybe on crack but for sure you are a idiot who is on crack why would you make such a provocative comment

he is just praising his pakistan artist and his comment has noting to do with indian side why idiot like you can't bear if we praise our own

get a life and change ur narrow minded low life mentality!!!

  • naah actually I think you guys aren't even Punjabi - just because you speak the language doesn't mean you are by blood -

  • listen lil kid go do ur home work b4 you get spanked from ur mama this channel is for grown up and people with manners NOT for retard like you now get lost.

  • I am a punjabi & indian.Let me no your punjabi credentials. You would not be using term paki if you knew it is not politiacally correct.Calling me nut just shows your own standard.

  • @Asif410 yes.

I completely agree with Asif, you are being extremely narrow minded right now. Offcourse, Kuldeep Manak, AS Chamkila and Gurdas Mann might be great singers, have u ever heard singers like Attaullah Khan, Ghulam Ali OR Atleast Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, they are all pakistanis, and are almost all more popular than a Lot of INDIAN artists even in India. U need to stop being so ignorant about your views.

    And BTW, i'm indian too

  • this is great ...this guy legend

  • Apna punjab is not written by Gurdas Mann..it is written by Makhan Brar

  • Apologu asif. Your correct and peace 2 u 2 skyoe

  • Did Gurdas Mann make a copy of this song but changed it to bottle of sharab ho wey? If is so Gurdas is a cheap act,

  • only similarity between two songs is the repition of the word "howey"

  • Perhaps you are correct but it does sound like Gurdas took more then howey.

I still do think that any artist that glamorize sharab esp in Punjabi society is a cheap act. I hope Gurdass has mended his ways.

  • Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan has sung more songs glamorising sharaab than any other artist. Would you dare call the legend a cheap act?

  • nahi yaar fight matt kero just read description of this video these were Shaukat Ali own words how he adore Gurdass Maan gi

tusi sarey meray veer ho serif payar diyan gallan kero

  • lol theek aa veer as you say.. but just to sum up:

    1) I like Shaukat Ali more than I like Gurdas but he hasnt copied this song.

    2) Sharab is as much a part of punjabi culture as anything else, singing about it doesnt make you a cheap act.

    Peace

  • Point taken but The cup of vine, the tavern and the beare that NSK sings of is a metaphor for the ultimate reality not some cheap bottle of daroo consumed in Manns video's.

  • Beyond fabulous !!!!!
