  • Youtube morons who feel the need to mention either "thumbs up if you agree" or some damn Justin Bieber mentio of some sort.

  • From a musician stand-point, that intro was the smoothest transition I've ever heard. God damn, these guys are too under rated. smh

  • @JinXMoon ~Perfect way to say it. So So TRUE. And somebody marked the most meaningful comment, yours, as SPAM. I had to unspam it to see it. WTF is WRONG with ppl? I will NEVER know, TG.

  • people needa stop baggin on justin bieber, i personally dont like his music but his voice isnt horrible, its just his lyrics that suck.

  • @MelissaMees He sings to another generation - when I grew up i listened to MJ, Madonna, MC Hammer...are their lyrics any deeper than Bieber's? Of course not, it was dance music and to have fun...now if Bieber keeps writing the same songs in 10 years, then we can complain then. Until then....

  • the best album i've ever heard in all 19 years of my life <3

  • @angeleenalikesmakeup

    haha same here :D

  • I actually don't think that if they become more famous, that they will change much. They're waaay to unique and I think they know it :) It'll be fine

  • they are pretty well known in the indie industry, and they're fine with that.

  • @sleepless0x Yeah I always hear them on the indie rock station I listen to :D (I heard them more last year since more and more indie rock bands are appearing now).

  • Anyone notice how the songs are connected? Suburbs leads in Ready To Start. Empty Room goes into City with no Children, Half life goes into Half Life 2, Month Of May goes into Wasted Hours, We Used To Wait goes into Sprawl, which goes into Sprawl II. Best album ever!

  • i love the guitar in this song ^_^

  • i wish they were more famous they deserve it way more than these so called "musicians" we have now a days *cough cough justin bieber cough"

  • @scott123456789098765 Noooooo. I don't want everyone to love Arcade Fire, they can have their pedo-pop and Gaga mush (no offense to whoever likes it, Lady is okay). AF is a great band, they should be kept on a down-low for people who look for good music.

  • @administramation why is it bad that people like arcade fire?thats a little selfish dont you think?there beutiful music should be heard by everybody!

  • @misssamstown Noooo what he's saying is that us with good taste should keep them to ourselves - the worst thing is there a band gets massively overly popular and turns a bit dull

He's basically saying that Arcade Fire are close to our (mine at least) emotions and hearts, and I would rather it stay thatt way :)

  • @WhiteLies666 Popularity doesn't equal awful. If anything popularity is a good thing, just because they get popular doesn't mean they are going to be singing about disco sticks or glitter.

  • @BrettWieckhoff No no no, what I'm trying to say is that overplayed songs get dull, and there's no individual spark expressed between the band and us, the listener =]

  • @administramation i was about to answer the same thing you read my mind

  • @TheGirlWhoWatchedU5 Haha same here!

  • @administramation Good music is for sharing. Don't hog!

  • @administramation Hipster detected.

  • @xxxPurplexGirlxxx

    Moron alert

  • @administramation everyone should know everything good so that the world can be saved

  • @administramation Don't you think that's a little selfish though? If more people know Arcade Fire, they make more money. And stop being an annoying little hipster and let other people like the same music as you. So what if someone likes both Lady Gaga and Arcade Fire? That doesn't mean they have a bad taste in music. It just means they appreciate different kids. Grow up.

  • @administramation I Agree...then everyone will know about them

  • @scott123456789098765 u got your wish last night

  • @scott123456789098765 if you think about it, they wouldn't be as good if they were more famous. they'd turn more mainstream, right?

  • @scott123456789098765 I kinda agree but if they were more famous, there songs would be overplayed and they'd eventually crash like any other "radio" artist

  • @scott123456789098765 they just won the grammy for best album I think that's pretty famous breh

  • @LucidEyes17

    yeah fo realz

  • @scott123456789098765 i hope they dont get any more famous.

  • @scott123456789098765 like winning the grammies?

  • @scott123456789098765 agreed. :(

  • @scott123456789098765 But see, the reason they are famous is because they are idiots, and the general population are idiots. Idiots attract other idiots. Simple as that. :D

  • @scott123456789098765 Just wandering why does everyone always pick on Gaga and Bieber i mean i dislike them both but.. Theres a shitload of other horrible artists.

  • @scott123456789098765 welp they won the grammys so there ya go

  • I just realized the purpose of this cd. They want to help people realize that we have had a world constructed from begining to end, all offered in a silver plate, we're told what to do, where to walk, how to walk, how to talk, who to be... this is one of the main thoughts with fuel that impulse me to be different. And they've carried it into a cd... amazing! They deserve the fame they've acquired... they need it to tap into people's conscience. Just like Jesus, Gandhi, Buddha, Einstein...

  • @spellthemagicword Ok but there have been trillions of bands bringing this emssage before, Nothing new. I think Arcade Fire are bringing in a more accessible way for the masses.

  • @decoymantis you should listen sprawl II again , and you will change your mind about the best song on the album. :)

  • totally in love with this song
