  • Haha, I actually got a wooden one after a while. Well, I didn't get it. The school got it. But I'm the one who played on it.

  • What type of bassoon is it? I've got a Fox 601

  • That's a pretty bassoon! I'm jealous. My bassoon is a rental from the school... it's black plasticy weird stuff... I want a really nice wooden bassoon with red wood. I will NEVER have the money for that though!

You are a great bassoonist! And I thought I was the only one that said "happy bassooning" it makes my heart happy that you say that too =]

  • I say that too (Happy bassooning) lol. It sounds good with "Bassooning" but not with any other instrument name. You would never say "Happy Clarineting." lol.

I also have a board rental bassoon, but mine is wood. I hope to get my own in a few years :):)

  • Pfff I wouldn't say happy fluting... it's just not right. Though happy drumming is... well, it's right I suppose. :p

  • another musical mystery dun dun dun...

  • Congratulations, steeleal! You've picked a wonderful instrument to play!

  • im going to play the basson next year in high school.

  • It's a "mystery" bassoon - there are no markings on it. BTW, I've just made another video of this horn. While the video is better, the sound has a LOT of static although the overall sound of this horn is better on it. I'm going to try another camera tomorrow - hopefully, that'll be better.

  • What kind of bassoon is it?
