Eh, I never thought he was really good per say on the mic. Like you mentioned, the DX return, he seemed a little clueless of the next words coming out of his mouth. I thought he seemed more comfortable and a little better on the mic in the nWo, for whatever reason, some of the other promos he did with Hall or Nash.

Could be. I believe he was (and still is) very close to Hall and Nash, more so than the other members of the "Kliq." And the way WCW was ran, he probably had more freedom on the mic in WCW. Who knows though really.
