My wife is a native, we have lived here for almost 50 years--just discovered this video & it has made our Christmas. Having our ears caressed by the incomparable Louis armstrong while taking a trip down memory lane--what could be better. The topper is that Santa Claus in the school play is our son Mike, at five years old-how great is that!

Having grown up in Charlottesville, this is particularly memorable. Of course the main street scenes seem to depict the street to be wider than the downtown mall that now covers it., it's just as I remember it.

They voted for Clinton, Gore, Kerry, and anything else democrat, green, and full of it. They long for algae-powered cars, they have organic bird feeder boutiques, a real snowflakes paradise, if you like high taxes and lots of snowjob jerk liberals, this is it.

NOW THIS is the type of photos i like....business districts ...that show lots of vintage cars and people....Christmas decorations etc. Now everything is pretty much communist. The town I live in used to have decorations everywhere but "certain people" complained and now it looks like any other time of year drab and Soviet.
