i assume this is right hand drive? if so i'm looking to turbo my e36 m3, but i was told i couldnt due to nobody making a cost effective kit for one? anyone point me in the right direction?
I think he means one pipe coming from the turbo (downpipe), you can then split into a Y if you want, but having no back pressure will yield quicker boost responce. I run mine off the downpipe, so no exhaust for me....
15-degrees outward-tapering (linear increase in cross sectional area / diameter) for about 6 inches is the optimal design for a dump pipe.
In fact.... some turbos already have an outward-tapering turbine-exducer built/cast into the exhaust housing itself. So u dont have to spend extra money on getting a custom tapered dump pipe made up.
install looks good what are your specs, what was the starting problem, tune?
