I Juice using the vitamixer i put spinach ,kale, bannana, other fuits and spirulina every morning .i like this better than using the slow juicer extracter (champion) i feel like im leaving vitamins behind if i juice . cause when you eat spinach you dont suck on it and throw it away you eat it all ,am i doing this right???
haha. that's great to hear. i have a question. how important is getting enough calories on the raw food diet from high energy foods such as fruit or fats from coconuts, avocados or nuts?
Excellent! Look forward to it. Just wanted to say you guys have inspired me a great deal since I started watching your shows. I have gone from not raw at all to high raw. Doing the juicing and green smoothies and I am feeling the benefits already. I work as a Nanny for five children and have been introducing the kids to the idea of eating more green and they loved making your green smoothie recipe on Friday!
we have to be careful when juicing i think, its fantastic but the sweeter and nutrient rich the juice the slower you need to drink it....also depending on your absorption rate, the higher concentration of nutrients and carbs means that the chance of the elements entering the cell are less...so important to drink slowly or you can crash pretty hard from to much conentrated sugars...just my experience. cheers carrot/apple/cellery today
tip for easy juicing without a champion or raw juice maker! blend the whole ingredients with water and strain through a nutmilk bag. it is quick and easy with little mess.
Hey Ka, I was wondering if we'd get a video on how you keep up the raw food lifestyle whilst on holiday and visiting with family and friends. If they are also raw fooders then it's probably no different but if they're not how to you work around that?
jay kordich is awesome!
you should watch the documentary "the beautiful truth"
thanks for making this video it's nice
