  • The beginning with the chipmunk chocolate disco sounds rather stupid..but the rest of this is like perfect ~ I'm listening to this again and again...

  • "The term "Harajuku Girls" has been used by English-language media to describe teenagers dressed in any fashion style who are in the area of Harajuku.[9] This fashion infuses multiple looks and styles to create a unique form of dress...Punk style in Harajuku is more of a fashion than a statement. [1] Its fashion mainly consists of dark colors, plaid, chains, and zippers" -Wikipedia

Visual Kei, a form of J-Rock and Fashion, could thus be considered Harajuku style.

  • most of the ppl in that are goth or visual kei :/

i think i only saw 1 pic closely realitive to harajuku :I

  • Visual Kei can be considered a form of Harajuku fashion. *read my other comment*

Harajuku itself is nothing more than the area that the people meet.

The goth your referring to is either the style of Gothic Lolita or Punk.

"Every Sunday, young people dressed in a variety of styles including gothic lolita, visual kei..." -wiki

All fashions in the vid are Harajuku styles, so. Yeah.

    Just check the wiki. ^^

  • Not that I am implying that you are wrong, but you could have been misinformed. Wikipedia is a website to post information about any given term, but is also open for users to edit certain terms. Besides, Lolita is 1 thing, visual kei is also another thing, the 'harajuku style' is a style all its own. I've seen lolita and have experience in the clothing style, and you were right, there was gothic lolita in this video, but most wasn;t realitive to harajuku, plus dont use

wiki as proof bc its fixed

  • harajuku girls don't actually exist and harajuku doesnt have a particular style either...harajuku is just a shopping district in tokyo where people who dress different hang out. they can be punk, gothic, lolita, himegals, EGA, decora, ganguro, kogal, FRUiTs, visual kei, or any kind of underground fashion, the term harajuku girl or style is a western misconception, and people hanging out there will get annoyed if you refer to them as "harajuku" anyone

  • Harajuku is simply just a term to describe, not to label. Like personally I belive the "style" emo doesnt exist, yet people use it to describe people who dress similar to "goths" or "punks" do they not? Harajuku is simply an appearence term, not labels like the ones u told me.

  • its a shopping district and you read what i said wrong apparently, also emo is a seperate fashion movement which includes acting a certain way like all other fashion movements. if you choose to describe yourself as that you know more about it than people who call people that who look kind of emo. and i never said it was labels, each one of those terms i used are part of a seperate fashion movement.

  • Isn't this stuff gothic lolita? :S

  • Not all of it. A lot of it's Hime and decora, which can be classified as "Harajuku girls"
